Lazy front office when it comes to FA. Either they get their guys or it’s the leftover scraps. Way too dependent on the draft.

They do overvalue their own it’s sickening. Can’t bear the thought of losing one of ‘their guys’, to the point of getting screwed in negotiations and grossly overpaying.

Both of our so-called ‘pass rushers’ were. The $25 million guy on the opposite side could do nothing against a backup offensive tackle.

Hey remember we have Micah Parsons the sky is not falling. You guys are all crying we’re letting go of the players you guys were crying are overpaid. Once we have another great draft you guys will find something else to cry about. You’d think we were the jets or jags way you guys whine.

I would take Micah over any LB or DE in the league. He’s unstoppable and way to fast.

Lawrence is a very solid run defender and pass rusher just hurt to much for that cap hit.

Gregory is super explosive but unreliable and inconsistent. If we bring him back we’re not gonna break the bank lol.

Preach it. He was an All World run stopper and the defense was so much better when he played last year. For me it was another year of asking did Lawrence play?

Highly impactful. Worth every penny. Uh yeah, sarcasm on.

Well, you can't blame them. When your team isnt good enough the most logical thing to do is to try to bring back the same team.

We’re getting rid of the over rated bums you complain about all year. But now you upset when they do. Cynical much? I think you and half this forum would rather go 0-16 then win a super bowl!

The same crap the homers tried when Crawford was terrible at defensive end. Suddenly the talk shifted to ‘run defense’ and ‘pressures’. Fans will always divert from stats that paint ‘their guys’ in a negative light.

Trent Williams is the best LT in the league and he whooped Gregory, it happens. Other teams have great players too. The defense as a whole played well enough to win. Gregory has high end traits and is a very good edge rusher that always goes against the other teams best protector. Over reacting to one game is how you ruin rosters. Gregory is not easily replaceable. Some people want to get rid of him and DLaw, its madness. Parsons cant play everywhere.

We went 13-4. 49ers were a really good team in a strong division and beat Green Bay the next week. The sky is not falling.

Priority number one is always to spend the money on players that prove how good our GMs are at drafting.
Exactly.

And bonus points if that player is a classic Jerry reclamation project coming off injuries or personal problems. Makes the old wildcatter feel good and lets him show how much his "risk taking" has totally paid off.

Yep,
narratives, goalposts and scapegoating do a heck of a lot of shifting around here. Only human I guess, lol.

All evidence to the contrary.

I get this feeling that Gregory will get more money on the open market than Dallas should pay to retain him.
I don't think so. I don't think a lot of teams are willing to put in the Time Energy and Money (TEAM) into Gregory as the Cowboys did. He should also be very weary and appreciative that the Cowboys organization stuck with him and had faith in him this long and other organizations most likely won't.

Jerry still hasn't given up the dream of telling the world how he was the only one who beleived in randy and how his "football instincts" were right on the money. He will keep that dream alive no matter the price-tag.

Nobody thought Crawford was good. Just keep bringing up random things from years ago to prove your point. We have a good young team. We have a franchise QB who has 2 great WRs and we have Pollard and Zach Martin for now. We also have Parsons and Diggs.
The sky is not falling. Have a beer and enjoy your day.

Crawford was a nice rotational type player who was paid as a quality starter. Another in a long line of talent misassessments by our craptastic GM.
