Bye bye baby, bye bye.
He wasn't worth that money, problem is he sets a bar for mediocrity.

The ball was one of those little plastic ones.Who knows what really happened, there are several versions that are being reported.
Bottom line, like Fish said, this is a massive FAIL by Steven and the front office for not getting the deal done. As Fish said, it was a layup and a gust of wind knocks the ball out of your hand.
Jerry agreed to the exact contract structure Denver had matching the contract, Stephen changed the language. But apparently Denver didnt have a clause like that in their contracts.
So my question is "why does Dallas have language regarding behavior in their contracts if other teams, like Denver, dont?"
But is it in the Broncos' contracts?
But..but..but it's standard in every contract.Except we now know it wasn't in Dak's contract.
Hmmmm.
There is one thing Steven couldn't offer him.Who knows what really happened, there are several versions that are being reported.

Got a quote?Jerry agreed to the exact contract structure Denver had matching the contract, Stephen changed the language.
Perhaps, but it is said that Stephen wouldn't take it out. It's not good business to have your money voided if you get fined which happens all the time, Cowboys are doing extra. They agreed to the terms of the contract-amount, length, bonus, etc. Each team has their own contract template that they use and essentially fill in the blanks with the terms. Dallas entered in the parameters and hit print, the rest is just the standard language of the contract, which the Cowboys put this clause in as standard. It goes on everyone's contact unless they ask/negotiate to remove it.. I guarantee Dak negotiated it out of his. The agent is lieing when he says he hasn't seen it before. It was in one of RD's contract and it is in Collins' contract. So he is lieing or never read the other contracts.
My guess is the agent is getting a "kicker" from Denver if RD signs there but Dallas isn't doing that (and it might not be legal in NFL terms).
It's in a PFT article, or on another thread by @blueblood70.Got a quote?
