and he kinda sucked in 2021 after he returned from his surgery and being fat. He didnt inspire anyone.

It takes time to recover from a hip surgery and return to form.
Maybe staff was not convince that he could eventually get back into previous form

Good for Collins, I wish him the best.
I still do not 100% agree with allowing him to leave, or even if the did get a trade of a late round pick.
I do understand it though also. However, I am not sure the OL is better or the same with Steele. We shall see.
Fans wanted some type of change, well you got your change.

Anyway, hope he does well, since it is with the Bengals.

That just sounds like an oxymoron coming form Cincinnati.
Yet, there they were last season. In the Superbowl. And Chewy playing better at corner than he ever did in Dallas. Yea, the Bengals have a workman like vibe over there. Not country club crap like in Dallas. Hope he goes there and does well and he helps the team win a championship. Cause, we all know Dallas isn't doing it until these moronic owners are gone. If ever.

And Terrence Steele played better than Collins last year.

Just like Dak plays better than your buddy Wentz.

He was. Team gave Steele a lot more help than Collins and schemed around him.
No, he wasn't.

Also, Steele played a lot of LT, which is not his position.

Also factored into the holy grail grade you are clinging to...

Also, how can Collins be top 10 in penalities in the NFL in 10 games and still be this highly graded?

The Cowboys management telegraphed their hand thru the media with this guy. They let it be known early on that they were going to cut him if they could not trade him. Knowing that teams waited for the cut. Probably should have/could have gotten a draft pick of some sort for him had they played their hand better.

La’el, while better than Steele, was overrated by many. Let’s be honest he wasn’t a bust for a first round talent but he didn’t live up to the hype either

OK, lets see who has the better year. You think that anyone would give Steele a $30M contract if he was a free agent? Why do you think there was so much interest in him?

"While penalties have been an issue at times for Collins, he's allowed just four total sacks over the past two years combined. Burrow was sacked four or more times in eight games in 2021, including playoffs".

Hmmm, did he play both of those years?

La'el has a very bad hip. Just a matter of time before he misses more games because of it.

A simple X-Ray would turn up any serious hip issues and I have no doubt the Bengals would make him get one. Not saying he does not have residual issues from hip surgery but I am certain he is far from crippled.
