Good thing we restructured contracts and gave away a starting WR & OL to ensure that we have plenty of cap space to not use.
Collin’s was a joke. The line got worse when he arrived.

Cooper was a luxury we didn’t need. Moving on from both was the right play. But yah, we need to see how they use that money. So far just resigning. I’m assuming we take a lineman in the draft at pick #1. De is the wild card. Gregory was good but he wasn’t that good.

No issues with what you're saying. I can completely justify moving on from all those guys, but I can't get on board with the Cowboys dumping them just to carry extra cap space.

How did the Vikes sign him when they were just barely under the cap? Answer...they created money. Moved the funny $ around and made it happen. We don't do that.

So the Cowboys with over 30 million in cap space can't even work out a deal similar to the Vikings? That is reasonable price for an end with the talent of Z. Smith.

Shows how clueless this FO really is...
The Vikes had just under 2 mill 2 play with, yet they signed him.

So the question is, who leaked that fake report the Cowboys were very interested in Za'Darius Smith? Was it Jerry or Smith's agent? Honestly, Smith was the guy to get for $14 million. A physical would be in order and I am sure the Vikings had him thoroughly checked out before giving him $14 million per year.
