One player I'm surprised we aren't discussing is Julio Jones

Crazy how quick Julio's career nosedived. My bro-in-law is a Titans fan and was stoked to be getting him. Jones did nothing of significance for his team. I know he was hurt, but even when he was on the field, the results weren't great.

Still, I'd kick the tires on a cheap 1 year deal (which, yes, I know won't happen).
While true but Tannehill makes receivers look bad.

He’s washed. Hamstring acts up, and he’ll give you 6 games max

i am a little bit of both. i think he would be great receiver on a one year deal. who do we have after washington and also gallup may not full speed until quarter into the season. the negative against jones is he is always injured and getting paid free money every year.

might very well be the insurance they need at the WR position.

Julio Jones.

But I'm glad he isn't rumored to be a Cowboy.

He just isn't what he used to be and can't stay healthy.

I would take him on a one year deal at $3 million.

He'll most likely end up as a Colt though with Matt Ryan throwing to him.

Blimey!
JJ is toast!
I say the minimum at one-year.
If he can do better, then God bless him.

I think he's basically what Dez was when Dallas sent him packing

Big WRs careers usually drop off a cliff and he is already halfway to the ground.

Plus, Dallas really needs a speedster to go with Lamb, Gallup, and Washington who are all around the 4.5 range.

Will probably end up catching passes from Brady on a one year vet minimum contract and catch 125 passes, 1500 yards and 27 tds. Lol

Pass…Julio Jones is Gerald McCoy, maybe even Dontari Poe. The former had the heart, but the body was gone. The later was a med school cadaver - a big stiff with no heart.

I could see him being a late addition to a team after they go through training camp and pre-season. There may not be a rush to sign him by any team. Just let things play out especially if he does indeed have high salary demands.

A couple of CZers commented that the Colts could be in play due to Matt Ryan being the new QB there.
I dismissed than scenario to both.
However - Ryan is a stand-up guy; one could envison Matty Ice reaching out to his former Falcons teammate = "Hey Julio....do still have some juice...do you still want to play?"
If says yes - the QB could go to HC and lobby for signing him on.
