I wish there was a way we could rewatch games together and do commentary.
You now how people remotely watch movies together.
There are some games I'd love to see comments on lol especially the Romo eras.

Offseasons are so boring.
Dak would still suck, MM would still suck, Moore would still suck, Jerry would still suck.......did I leave anyone out? Lol

Boards like this has become a place for Cowboys fans to vent their frustration. A large percentage of the thread topics and replies are disgruntled fans voicing their displeasure with the team/QB and ownership.

Yup, I miss the positive threads.....most threads nowadays are negative and depressing

I'll go a step further, they are the reason I still follow this team.

Started on the old DC.com and then we came over on the three ships I'm Never Wrong, Some Opinions are Just Facts and the largest, Oh Yeah? So Are You!

I went looking for a place to talk Cowboys and football and to waste some time and I found so much more and a great investment of time. Just seeing the names up there when I come here makes me feel good. Part of the world is still right.

This place is fun and funny and there are some excellent observations about the game and the team made in the football zones but where I've gotten to know so many better are in the non football zones where we let our hair down. I let so much of mine down I don't have any left.

I've said this before and it bears repeating. There is no way I could explain how important this is to me to other people. They would have to experience it and get to know the people behind the names, people I will never meet that have enriched my life. And I get to know the quality of the person through their prose.
I prefer to watch games live vs recording them because I have so much fun cutting up with other posters on the game day threads.
It's kinda like watching the game with other Cowboys fans.

A lot of the fans that were starting the positive threads have become discouraged and have either disappeared or have turned into haters. Fans have become increasingly frustrated with the team and many don’t like Dak as our QB.

I don't know, man.

I ran away and never looked back when Couchcoach started posting all those pics of himself in a bikini.
I would like you to know that while you were running away the membership had it's greatest female gains after that posting. It was so huge, Realty was thinking of putting in a Coffee Klatch Zone.

The Zone does gameday right as opposed to how DC.com let all the threads start up, it was mayhem and hell on the mods trying to keep it civil.

There is some funny stuff in the Gameday threads and I have to wipe the sarcasm off my screen.

This place is always divided and mostly over whoever is QB. We can and will NEVER agree on players and thus, half the people don't like the other half. That's the way it is.

We all have a sense of community, even if we say we prefer to be left alone. The Almighty didn't make us to be in isolation.
So, for me, it's better to root for the Cowboys (or criticize them) in a community than by myself.
I used to love watching Cowboys games with like fans at sports bars before the Internet and the NFL Sunday Ticket. I now don't get that experience because of Sunday Ticket.
This is the next best thing, especially on draft day and game days when I get that real-time feedback with other fans.
And I like the fact that your rules allow for heated debate but not outrageous, mean-spirited, flame-throwing - which has wrecked many a sports forum. You all step and stop the nonsense pretty quickly. And you all are fair - banning TEMPORARILY unless the transgressions are so offensive that one needs a permanent ban.
I like that approach. Let people learn from their mistakes because they return, for the most part, conforming to the rules of the forum.
The way you all moderate this forum sets a general climate that has helped this forum exist for so long.
Keep up the good work.

Like so many of you fellow Cowboys fans, I choose to spend several hours a week tossing out my opinions on my favorite team. I really do love this forum we have- It’s fun and interesting and entertaining.

What makes this place great IMO and what keeps me here even when I’m frustrated with how my favorite team is being run- is all the great fans I’ve gotten to know here. It’s like an extended family. I have developed some real friendships with some really great people. Several that I disagree with often! :)

I really do appreciate all our fans who care enough about the Cowboys to write an opinion about them here. This place was never invented to be some kind of country club where we all agree. It’s an opinion forum. And I’m grateful for the variety of opinions served up hot and fresh every day. It’s what makes this place work.

Many years ago I stopped letting the Cowboys’ results in any way affect my happiness or enjoyment. I'm a father, grandfather and cancer survivor who enjoys every day with sincere gratitude. And this forum and the people who show up here and contribute are what makes it tick.

It’s the off-season and so far it hasn’t been a good one. But for me this forum and the great people who show up here keep it fun.

Here an off-season tip of the cap and raise of the glass to all my fellow Cowboys Zone fans who make this place great. Cheers.
Hah. That’s pretty much my opinion. Some great and insightful fans here.

Ranching keep being positive !
Us negative Nellie's need ya!
Ranching's base\foundation is in Coaching -- a profession in which one has his/ her philosophy on how to put together a team to succeed in the sport + the methodology they believe will guide the players to do their best as individuals - but accept and embrace the concept that every teammate is important when they work hard toward the goals as ONE.
Coaches teach, stress, and demand positivity to achieve maximum performance; however they address the negativity of their team's performance - both in practice and during games.
A "pat on the butt" can just as motivating as a "kick in the azz" ; the knack --leading to experience -- is when to use each.

I see it as fans getting frustrated with the front office.
Our leadership seems more interested in sponsorships and making money.
Than improving the team.

Yep it's just fun craziness on the game day threads.
I enjoy the game 70% and the GameDay threads 30%.
This forum has really kept me involved with the Cowboys.
Honestly I would have otherwise lost a lot of interest as we seem stuck in mediocrity.
