The Real Question in Dak Hater’s Minds……Why didn’t we draft a QB?:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

This Thread is a tantamount to a Child Crying over Very Hot Milk………:muttley:

No this was actually one of Dak's better years.

Cowboys were #1 in yards and #1 in scoring and Dak broke the all time Cowboys TD record for a QB.
Do you actually think Dak Hater’s care about Hypothetical Dak scenarios?

They’d replace Dak with anything……so they can reclassify Tony Romo’s Hostage Press Conference as a WIN:lmao2:

I draft a QB regardless and have him ready to take over as soon as Dak's contract is up.

I've seen enough of Dak to know that he's not playing well 3 or 4 games in a row against playoff caliber teams like we'll need him to do for us to win a Super Bowl.
You also “knew” Taylor Heinicke would light us up and you “knew” to bet the house on Washington.

You “know” a lot about football!!!

Does anyone have pictures of Dak and Zeke hanging out together? Just curious as to why people think they are friends instead of co-workers.

Dak is being paid as a QB who can make everyone around him better. Guess what, that's not who he is and he never will be that guy. He is a good QB. He however doesn't by himself tip the scale. Never has and never will be that guy. He is what he is.

Agree. Look at Cleveland. Prescott is better than Mayfield but they are similar in needing a lot of talent around them on both sides of the ball to win games. Even they know Mayfield isn't the guy to lead them anywhere and rather than paying him a big contract they brought in a better QB and will likely cut him. Shame the Cowboys didn't do the same. Stuck with Prescott for at least two more wasted years.

Dak said it himself that the calf issue was not the cause of his problems the 2nd half of the season. He said he simply didn't play well and I believe him. Why do some fans insist he's lying?
His calf may have been healthy, but that injury lingers more in your head than in your body. I like to think that it played a part, he rushed many throws. He played well, but he should be much better next year if it did play a part.

All because their little egos cant handle being dead wrong about how good Dak was. So pathetic.

Ok this is not a Dak bash thread, i think he's a stand up person great QB. But since that calf pull after the ankle break he's been struggling. Id like to know Hypothetically say he's still struggling at the start of the year and finishes the year off not so great & we don't make the playoffs. If your Cowboys do you draft a backup/Replacement in the 1st 3 rounds just incase he continues to drop off to do you let it ride with him. Remember we are going to have to Cut his buddy sometime in the next 24 months which will also play havoc on his mental well being. Oh and If we fail to make the playoffs we most likely will be looking at a new Coach as well.
Dak after Calf injury when he "struggled".

66% Comp %- 2636 yards (263.6 per game) 21 tds and 6 ints.

If this were any other team and he struggled this season and it clearly pointed to him, they would most likely go looking and this next draft is much better for QB's.

But this is not any other team, it is run by the whim of one man driven by his ego. He's doubled down before when the tide was turning away. He does not like to admit he was wrong, synonymous with defeat.

Dak Prescott is not an elite QB except with the media coverage and then he is exceptional. He got more coverage about his slump than Brady and Rodgers did combined in a MVP duel. That was not lost on PT Booger. Prescott and the Cowboys are a fit.

Good luck not having this turn into a Dak bash fest. With the amount of money the Cowboys are paying Dak if he continues to struggle they’re going to have to ride with him and hope he comes out of it. We’ll have to look at why he’s continuing to struggle. We didn’t do him any favors trading Amari Cooper and if the OL and running game don’t improve it could be tough for him to bounce back.

I do believe he was consulted about Cooper and gave the thumbs up since they were re-signing Gallup and tagging Schultz.

If/when the cowboys decide to move on from Dak.

you move up as high as you can into the first round to do so.

The hit rate on 2nd and 3rd round QB’s is incredibly low.

This is why QB contracts are so high anyway. Because finding a new one isn’t easy.

You draft a QB with a top 10 pick and you have a 15-20% chance at best, that they’ll be better than Dak.

you have a 50% chance they’ll be an outright bust who stinks.

Not a chance in my mind he gave a thumbs up to move on from Amari. Dak didn’t start becoming real productive until we traded for Amari. He made a number of big plays for us. No way was Dak on board with this move. It came down to money and the cap. We re-signed a receiver coming off an ACL that might not be ready for the start of the regular season. We could be starting the regular season pretty shorthanded at receiver.
