LO....you just come here for fights and arguments.

Clement did, in fact...LITERALLY won a super Bowl. Is that a little redundant? Sure. Does it need a special objection? Not unless you are a #%&.

I gave him special mention...I remembered the "Philly Special" play. But in all your BS....my point is lost. We had some good RB's...one with Super Bolw experience...we never employed. We never adjusted from these precious injuries you keep harping on about. Which I agree...hampers the run game. But we never made any move but pass 55 times. Then also say "zeke sucks".

It's apparent you have a very difficult time separating your OPINION on things...form that which are true indisputable FACTS.
still a big fat NO....

the rams won with defensive stops 2 in row and then Stafford then WHO? never heard of this super duper Clement person..wonder why??. more sbs are won with solid qb and great defense at least very good defense.

Sony Michel, literally scored the only TD in super bowl LII 2018. I’m still ticked off I didn’t win my bet for him winning mvp. Instead they gave it to Edelman based off his past contribution to the team, cough cough.
odd he got traded for bag of peanuts, lets stop the exaggeration. he didn't win the sb..

When McCarthy had Philbin in GB they were never a running team. The Cowboys have never been the same running since Callahan was let go.
look that not the issue not all of it.i explained it so lets move on .i left some facts you think its Philbin its much deeper then that..

The plan is to have a body who can run through open holes the line makes for them.

It is the year 2022 and people are still worried about RBs.
I think if the average body tried to run through
an open hole, assuming they knew what hole to hit, they would probably end up with brain damage and a torn acl. I respect OL don’t get me wrong me wrong but the average person cannot roll out of bed and be a running back.

how many average people know if the call is power right, the cutback is the opposite a gap if the DT crosses the center face. Another one, who knows on a power trap if you cut up off the fb block and the mlb is over perusing you can cut it all the way back in front of the olb and go 95 yards for a TD.

The plan? There is no plan.

I'm sure they would love to have a 2016 style offense. We all would, but you can't have the 2016 Cowboys offense with 2022 Zeke. You certainly can't have the 2016 Cowboys offense when you have turned into a pass first team either.

The fact of the matter is, until they stop playing guys base on pay, it will be business as usual.

Cole Beasley said it best when he left. He basically said the Cowboys don't always play the best player, but they do always play the highest paid ones.
Yeah the high paid or favorites, stars, like lamb, will get the most snaps, targets, and carry's.

A good example of jerry thinking, is the SF wc game, he had tyron , connor, and lael all back in the line up , and elliot got most of the snaps and carries.
Jerry does demand certain guys be in the game if they can walk lol.

elliot does not know any of that lol. and he is highest paid rb in the nfl !!

Thing is you can forget all that with at least 50% of todays rb's.
Emmitt used to use his vision, and just run to space, where ever it was , and it worked pretty good.

This is Zeke's last year, maybe Pollard's too.
2023 RB situation should be interesting.

I am not worried about the RB situation....you can find replacements a lot easier than finding your OL.. This OL needs to step it up and toughen up. Especially at the LG, C position. And i agree Tyron needs to stay as healthy as possible, but we have to plan for him being out several games. Biadasz needs to improve a lot, or at least have someone else take over because i feel he may be the weak link once the season starts.

Agreed , RB is one of the easiest positions to replace...

zeke is doing well to have this many seasons with us, he was good last year asw ell, if we were gussing in a higher or lower gameshow we might be saying lower for zeke this year, but you never know, it could be a golden season for him, pollard looked more explosive last year for sure, but he wasn't getting the same punishment as zeke.
we will probably get a 3rd rb from some other team that has to release for salary cap reasons.

Don’t expect a better team than last year.. We should see a drastic step back this season but results will be similar because our division stinks.
Maybe but the reality it is about what the Cowboys do in the playoffs. At the day it will be about what the Cowboys do in December and January. They took a gamble with losing players and the draft class but the reality is season will be decided by Dak, Tyron, Micah and Diggs. I like our chances with Micah and Diggs. This will be the best Cowboys defense since 2009. If Dak is the guy they paid 40 million we should be in Super Bowl contention.

Eh, I don’t think the defense is going to be any better than last year. Potentially worse with Lawrence another year older and Gregory a Bronco.

But yes.. They’ll be judged based on their post season but the Cowboys just don’t operate with any urgency and make no real effort to win anything. They are fine being mediocre and being relevant.

What they say is worthless.. Watch what they do.

I see Smith and Ferguson as the major additions in terms of personnel with Ferguson allowing the Cowboys to use more 12 personnel. Hopefully, we'll also see a little more Pollard and a little less Zeke.

Gregory? You really overrate him and your not the only one. You know he really was a glorified pass rush specialIst who can’t play a full season physically or mentally. The defense played better when Lawrence came back. Quinn will bring in more of his type of players. The defense is fast and tough. They almost single handily beat the 49ers. The offense did nothing. We have two all pro player of the year candidates under 25.
