Unfortunately I watched Dak finish the season.
You might compare him to Carson Wentz

Point 1: Mahomes played in 73 games, Dak only 56 and Dak still has him beat in 400 yard games.

Point 2: Mahomes has a god-like receiving unit. Dak has a very good receiving unit but it doesn't compare to Mahomes'. Kelce + Hill > by far anyone we got. Cowboys are receivers by committee. Chiefs have a receiving unit that have been proven unstoppable by 31 teams.

Point 3: Wins are a team accomplishment, so Mahomes didn't win those games on his own.

Again, Mahomes > Dak overall because of his Super Bowl and his postseason accomplishments, but lots of his games are simply because Chiefs are good enough to jump ahead and beat teams without Mahomes needing to do much. Cowboys has a bad defense most of the times, 0 dominant D-linemen, a used up starting running back, and an O-Line that blew the SF playoff game badly. Mahomes O-Line was horrendous in the Super Bowl, but at least they chose the last game of the year to be bad in.

Argh, the cherry picked, raw data, no analysis approach to assessing players.

As long as Dak has the right protection and a run game he is fine. He has had that most of his career. He is more than a bus driver if he has his wheels and will run with it occasionally. That’s a good part of his game.

Now post playoff and Superbowl win numbers.
You mean the two that Patrick Mahomes embarrassed embarrassed himself in. Other one that San Francisco gave him with the three Hail Marys he threw up at the end of the game. Screw Patrick Mahomes

Thoughts:

- Number of 400 yard passing games is largely a meaningless stat.

- Dak ain’t even close to Mahomes.

- This thread is funny
Who cares that Patrick Mahomes control perfect pass out of his ***. You put Prescott on that team and he wins also. Most overrated quarterback ever Patrick Mahomes

The biggest difference between the chiefs and the cowboys is coaching. I won’t even get into the mahomes Dak debate because that’s just ridiculous. But if they swapped coaching staffs you would see a better W/L record in both regular season and playoffs.
Andy Reid is a legitimate coach and if you look at the guys resume it speaks for itself. The cowboys biggest problem is letting Kellen Moore learn on the job. Last season in the second half the league caught up to Moore and he did nothing to adjust. On the flip side the league knew what KCs OC was doing for the first while and he adjusted and ended up in the AFCCG. That’s the difference. They changed their strategy to give the QB more confidence and played to his strengths. Meanwhile in cowboy land the OC was too arrogant or stupid to change his tactics and kept repeating the same mistakes.
But yeah. I’ll take Mahomes over Dak any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Anyone who says otherwise is either being obtuse or doesn’t actually understand football lol

Nick Foles and Trent Dilpher have the same amount of Superbowl rings as Mahomes.... do that mean they're on his level???

Mahomes is a much better quarterback than Dak, but give Dak that offensive line, Tarik Hill, Kelce, Andy Ried, and Bienemy calling the plays.... im sure Dak would have success too!!
And I am saying your full of crap. Football wise this is about as stupid as it gets.

Remember when Rocky quit the message board before the 49ers game? Calling everyone quitters on the way out (irony is lost on him)?

He knew we were losing that game but he'd talked sooooo much crap all year that he didn't want to face to music so he tucked tail and ran.

Then he slowly makes his way back posting every now and then thinking people forgot he quit when he saw the writing on the wall :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Kind of a double standard. When some QB’s throw 350 yards and 4 TDs, they’re good. When others do it, people say it’s only because the team had to play catch-up.
