I'm not saying Dak is better than Mahomes

We can identify a good QB by his stats. But the best of the best separate themselves from the pack in the playoffs, right?

When you think about these best of the best, did they have a good defense to help them out? If you take the good defenses away from most of these QB's, they struggle to reach a Super Bowl.

Russell Wilson with no defense struggles.
Aaron Rodgers with no defense struggles.
Payton Manning struggled with no defense.

Complete teams win playoff games. When was the last time you considered Dallas a complete team?

Dak has the benefit of being in the NFC Least division to prop up stats. I'll go with the QB with 2 Superbowl appearances.

Wow, what a flex.. so the GB game of 400 yards demonstrated what exactly, since they were getting blown out and Dak was chucking INTs and GB was playing soft.. Detroit was sandwiched in between some of the worst football by a QB for 5 games. Dak didn’t snatch anything against Atlanta. Atlanta played time and decided not to fall on the football and proceeded to blow an even greater 4th quarter lead the next week against a worse opponent. Amari basically was wide open and Dak couldn’t see it until Amari yelled at him and Dak continued to suck against zone and couldn’t even score a point against the Colts..

Don’t even get me started on the Browns where Dak was staring down WRs all day and LBs dropped about 6 picks and were jumping routes and didn’t drop the final pick either, which was another one of Daks stare down routes he was doing all day..

a bunch of useless stats against garbage teams and a random game here abd there against man coverage in TB where they were giving Amari the sideline routes all day and then Dak couldn’t find Amari all season long after that and they made him the scapegoat.

Yes, he doesn't have 9 400 yard games because you have all of these fantasies built up in your head. It is REALLY weird the lengths you go to trying to downgrade Dak. REALLY weird.

Jamesis Winston is one of 10 quarterbacks to throw for 5,000 yards in a season. What exactly does that fact mean?

I'm not against Dak but facts don't always tell a story. That is unless you think Winston is as good as or better than 8 other hall of fame or to be hall of fame quarterbacks (the 10th was Herbert last year) because he threw for 5,000 yards.

We are not talking about 5000 yard seasons. The post was pretty specific to what we were talking about.

Point 2: Mahomes has a god-like receiving unit. Dak has a very good receiving unit but it doesn't compare to Mahomes'. Kelce + Hill > by far anyone we got. Cowboys are receivers by committee. Chiefs have a receiving unit that have been proven unstoppable by 31 teams.

Point 3: Wins are a team accomplishment, so Mahomes didn't win those games on his own.


Again, Mahomes > Dak overall because of his Super Bowl and his postseason accomplishments, but lots of his games are simply because Chiefs are good enough to jump ahead and beat teams without Mahomes needing to do much. Cowboys has a bad defense most of the times, 0 dominant D-linemen, a used up starting running back, and an O-Line that blew the SF playoff game badly. Mahomes O-Line was horrendous in the Super Bowl, but at least they chose the last game of the year to be bad in.

Remember this dude named Jerry Rice who made an above average arm like Steve Young look elite?

Mahomes has two receivers that resembles Rice more than anyone we got. Mahomes has a far better arm than Young, but see what happens when you have elite weapons like he does? We've never seen Dak with an elite receiver before. Once (or if) Dak has an elite receiver, we'll see who he really is!!

A QB throwing for 400 yards are usually losing. So more is not a good stat. Most game plans are not designed to throw for that many yards. Exceptions of course but most of the time it is because they had to not because they wanted to.

it's not a fluke anymore when he consistently put up monster stats. There's 1 fluke game (Green Bay), but you can't seek to discredit every one of his 9 outings with some explanation, or another.

In case you haven't noticed.... we're told to ignore numbers and stats ONLY when Dak puts them up. Dak is held to a separate standard than other quarterbacks even though he was drafted in the 4th round. He's held to standards higher than first round drafted quarterbacks.

Where has Dak gotten this team? Dude has been to 2 SBs, should have been 3 in his first full season startinh but Brady got the ball last. How many SBs or championship games has Dak gotten too?

Nick Foles and Trent Dilpher have the same amount of Superbowl rings as Mahomes.... do that mean they're on his level???

Mahomes is a much better quarterback than Dak, but give Dak that offensive line, Tarik Hill, Kelce, Andy Ried, and Bienemy calling the plays.... im sure Dak would have success too!!
