that choke feels like a series ender, sweep?
Most likely no sweep, but if it happens, Go Dubs!

The Suns found out the wrong way, don't take the Mavs for granted.

But I think the Warriors is the better team, by what degree, doesn't matter, they'll prevail.

As a Dubs fan Looney is maddening to watch sometimes. He may be the most unathletic player in the league (due to his chronic hip issues), but he is a good team defender, solid rebounder, and high IQ in facilitating the Warriors offense
Agreed.

Once in a while teams need that type of player, like you say, to be a facilitator for the offense, someone who doesn't mind doing the dirty job for the star players, taking one for the team, keeping the peace.

Rambis was one of those players.

The 35 points he scored in the past 2 games are probably as much as he's scored all season (sarcasm).

I've noticed both he and Green, constantly pass up the uncontested 8-10 footers inside around the key. Oh well.

Enjoy!

Yeah, it’s frustrating to see sometimes when someone gets it to him right under the basket and he doesn’t go up strong because he has no explosion in the hips. It amazes me that guys so often bite on his inevitable initial pump fake. Sounds like I’m railing on him but I’m not. He’s been critical to this season and playoff run for the Dubs; yeoman’s work.

Switchable defender too which is imperative for a modern 5. I remember wanting him a few years back when we lost Horford as a 5 that brings utility

Big game tonight. We took HFA with a road win in Miami, and if we can get a W tonight we are in the driver's seat. Injury report has Lowery, Tucker, Vincent and Strus questionable for Miami

Dubs FO should be praised for being savvy in signing D’Angelo Russell and flipping him to the Wolves for Wiggins + 1st rounder that turned into Kuminga.

They should be chided for not having the foresight to pick-up a big man for the playoff run. I still think that will ultimately do them in this post-season.

The only players they have on the roster over 6’-9” or taller is Looney and Bjelica. Looney is a solid defender but limited role player and Bjelica offers little in terms of defense and inside scoring.
3 teams in the final 4 have gotten critical contributions from players they aquired as "negative assets" . Wiggins, Dinwiddie (although I think he is debatable as a negative asset) and Horford. Demonstrates the importance of a savvy organization

Disappointing game for Boston. They chipped Miami's big lead away and then got super sloppy with Butler out.

sweep in process

I think getting blown out after a 19 point lead was a nail in their mental coffin

Warriors dynasty still alive and well.

Steph Curry’s legacy continues to soar. Draymond clinching his HOF spot.

Luka’s special but a 1-man show isn’t beating the Dubs.

Feels a lot like the Lakers bubble run.
Aging team going out on fire and getting the title.
But I don't know what GSW does from here.
Thats a lot of money spent on a lot of age.
And a lot of young guys who will look to cash in.
GSW is managed so much better and has so much more young talent than the Lakers did so have a shot to shake things up and stay good going forward.
Decisions on Wiseman, Payton Jr, Otto all coming immediately after the Finals.

Should be an excellent Finals versus either MIA or BOS. Two teams that defend like their hair is on fire.

Health willing, I’ve got Warriors in 5 no matter who they face in the Finals.

Dallas and Memphis were considered very good defensive teams too, until GS showed up. Defending the Warriors is a completely different animal because of their constant ball/player movement, on top of their sheer talent.

Also, GS was ranked #2 defensively this season, right behind Boston. And that was with their stars barely playing together all year.

Wiggins is likely the odd man out, as he’s due $33M next year, and the team will look to extend the younger Poole; something has to give.

Payton Jr. is likely to cash-out elsewhere as his dad has already hinted at. Porter is a FA after this season. He actually makes less than Toscano-Anderson and could be brought back for a modest contract.

The Dubs are in a good place with Kuminga, Moody, and Wiseman moving forward. The Lakers are talent poor outside of LeBron and Davis, and do not have a clear path to improving their situation other than trading those two pieces.

C's defense is centered around crushing P&R, which from I dont believe GS uses extensively. That negates a defensive advantage Boston has on most teams. If I was betting on a GS/Boston finals, I would put my money on GS. I think we need a stronger 3rd scorer to compete with GS
