LOL.

You do this every year, hype the rookies and crap FAs we sign and when most don't pan out, oh well.

How's Fowler gonna do for us this year?
I bet you were one of those doubting Micah Parsons' ability to contribute his rookie year last year, just like you're doubting once again what Sam Williams could do based on his abilities. You simply don't know how to judge talent.

Why? The Eagles have no All-Pro players like Parsons and Diggs.. Dak is light years a better quarterback then Hurts and do you really think they have a better coaching staff then the Cowboys? The Eagles are depending on Hurts to become a real quarterback not a running quarterback. They are praying that Davis will actually put up sacks and pressures in the pros that he never did in the SEC with possibly the greatest defense in college football history. I keep asking Eagles fans on the board what good team did the Eagles beat last season and all I keep hearing is Philadelphia should have beaten San Francisco in week 2 of last season.:facepalm:

I also think the Cowboys will be better in some key spots like OL. I think we will get the tough yards behind Tyler Smith. I'm looking for the DL to be better adding Sam Williams and Ridgeway. I dont see much a dropoff between Sam Williams and Gregory. Ridgeway folks running up the middle are going to get hit and hit hard so RB's are going to run a little more scared because Ridgeway could take some cheap shots.

LOL, that's quite some spin there. So they offered him $70 million but really didn't want him back so they added some contract stuff?

I mean if they didn't want him back, don't offer him any contract.
If it was another franchise I’d agree. But you are telling me you’d be shocked to hear that Jerry wanted to sign him at any cost but Stephen stepped in and changed the language of the contract? Would not shock me and it shouldn’t shock anyone who’s followed this team for the past 25 years.

It’s weird…..Eagles had a good offseason but they were about 2 or 3 touchdowns worse than Dallas. To evened the gap still me but still not where the Cowboys were at last year.

Nope. My issues with Parsons surrounded questions about whether we should take a LB with our first round pick. I never doubted the kid could play in the NFL.

And one of your flaws here is reading comprehension. You will find no quote from me doubting Williams can play. He was a guy prior to the draft that was one of the after-1st round DEs we should target. So I had no issues with us drafting him. After Johnson, the kid from FSU, I thought Williams was in the next grouping along with the kid from OU, etc.

That being said, no one can say with certainty that the kid can play and will make an immediate impact.

So Jerry wanted him back. That's all I need to know.

You can't try to sell Gregory leaving as the Cowboys making a shrewd decision to let him walk.

I will say right here and right now...

Sam Williams is going to pull a Micah Parsons and tear it up this rookie season of his.

Keep an eye on Tyler Smith at Left Guard, Jalen Tolbert at WR, Jake Ferguson at TE, Matt Waletzko at Left Tackle (if Tyron Smith goes down with another injury) and John Ridgeway at NT/DT as well. This draft class is loaded with tons of talent and potential.

This is a division rival. The most hated of the division rivals in recent years (more than Wash imo). I love it! I wish it were more fueled by geniune hatred than "frenemie" chatter, but it's a start.

So to be clear, we are going to hit on 6 of our draft picks, with a bunch making immediate impacts on the 2022 Cowboys season?

If that happens, one, it's a legendary draft. Two, they have a chance to be really good. Odds are, however, the class won't be nearly as good as you think. If two-three turn out to be really good players for us, that would be a great draft.

Hurts will make sure that the bridge is not gapped…..he is the weak link and way below the player Dakota is

That's the thing.....I feel Dak has a edge over their defense. He's always had good games against them. Hurts has been flat out terrible. A good game from him will be his first. I like our defense against him.

I was on the Eagles forum and said the same thing. I asked who they really beat last year, and it was no-one. One Eagle fans asked me what we did with our star studded roster and how far did we go the past few years...
