Then the Rams are in deep trouble because the odds are against them winning and then they have a great chance of being bad in the future.


I’m sure their front office is having trouble sleeping right now.

The Cowboys were the 1st to operate in that mode...

It's not new and it's not a secret. It's all on overthecap and spotrac.

In March of 2013 the Cowboys had pushed the limit on this concept as far as absolutely possible.

Romo only had 1 year remaining on this contract which meant the could prorate his big 2013 salary into future years without extending it.

In the interim before agreeing to a new contract with Romo, they had pushed money into the future on all other possible contracts.
- They restructured the backup QBs contracts just to free up 100K.

The cap was Jerry's idea. He pushed the NFL to implement it.

The Cowboys know as much or more about the cap than anyone.
