I'm no Dak fan, but let's address the 800 pound gorilla here. Staubach and Aikman had some pretty good teams. What Dak had in comparison is laughable. Put that 1992 Cowboys defense on the 2016 Cowboys. Then see what happens.

Dak had a pretty nifty group in his rookie yr . Sometimes you have to be the difference the player that helps the team get past some of the deficiencies your team might have. Point . In the the SF game first possession the 49ers gained I believe 10 plus yards in every play ….7 -0 your down before Erin Andrews has brushed her hair taken a sip of her drink . Now it’s DAK and the offense turn ….THREE and OUT . When Brian Anger and booming punts are something to look forward to ….

I’m tired as a fan of hearing about Dallas record against the NJ landfills and the Commodores a 70’s Motown band .

Yeah, Dak did. Romo had some nice offenses too. But when the Cowboys got to and won super Bowls, they didn't have crap defenses. The bills and chiefs flashy offense got them a front row seat at the Super Bowl.

They have been absolute garbage, while Dallas was so much better at pretty much every position. And the only real time they played against a team from the NFC that was good and it was a matter of the playoffs was in 2019 and Dak choked against the Eagles.

One of the Horsemen is out of the gate fast, like the Great Secretariat. LOL

With all due respect, the Dakazoids like to play both sides on this one. If the topic is Dak is becoming injury prone, then he wasn't hurt for that game. If the topic is Dak can't play in the clutch and was outplayed by a QB in Wentz who was throwing to practice squad players, then the excuse is he was hurt. I'm not saying you are guilty of this I have no idea, but that's the tendency I've notice.

i’ve never seen this happen anywhere, ever. got an example?

Dak was playing seriously injured during that game. Dak had a fractured index finger in his throwing hand, plus he had a torn labrum in his throwing shoulder before the game even started. Even then, Dak didn't play thar bad. But, of course, you Dak haters have to look utterly ridiculous blaming Dak (while playing with multiple injuries) for thar loss to the Eagles in Philadelphia late in the season. Truly shows how ridiculous y'all have become.
Sometimes you gotta toss bait in the water and let the chum come to you.
Once you do, one will quickly see about 15% of the board are just fans of other teams trolling.
And it is pretty easy to tell which teams within a few posts.

ironic the east is so bad the other 3 teams can't find way to consistently beat uis and we are beating them down,. not just winning absolute point differentials look like preseason games..there are other divisions that the top teams feed on the others its not new..

No sorry but dak came back 3 times or more against GB when the D in 16 couldn't stop rogers ..it was all defense, why we lost that game. Lets keep it real.. Daks not playing Corner, LB or safety and rogers picked them apart if from memory dak took the lead with 1 min 13 secs left in the game and rogers still got them in the FG range as if they were playing flag football. Same against the rams how many LONG run carving time eating drives can our defense allow?? did dak allow 250yards rushing?

its the team, jeez let it go, i dont remember dak losing any of those playoff games,

Ive watched Drew brees NOT overcome penalties and team issues. i mean he got a SB but many payoff games had some player or ref ruin the chances for another. he did not overcome team/ref issues. i believe that year was the best defense the saints had of all brees career , ironic that the one they won. same with Russ Wilson LOB ring bell?? steer defense sure helped young big ben out.. Elis defenses were crazy good ..

 Like I said Dak wanted a 4 yr deal and I’ve defended him on this forum so in yr 2 of a 4 yr deal the window is small to see playoff success or look elsewhere . If that upsets you well ….

No someone implied Daks never had the squad to go . The rookie yr was a good team won 13 I believe he was rookie of the yr. What I’m saying is sweeping the streets with NFCE debris is nice but Daks in yr 7 and second yr of a four yr contract. Taking Judge Joes tapioca pudding and Ron Riveras politically correct comedy team not enough . He makes the big bux # 4 people want results .

Some compared him to Kirk Cousins and Tannehill goodness he’s better then that , is that enough to help Dallas get trophy # 6 . Time will tell .

No he didn’t take the lead. He had a chance to drive them down for the lead, but had to settle for the tying field goal and left too much time on the clock for Rodgers. Of course whoever decided to waste a down and spike it to stop the clock on first down when they got into Packers territory deserves a ton of the blame.

King Bum Beater!

Are you saying because Romo had the record that he is better than Staubach and Aikman? And if Dak is better than Romo for breaking the record... then... you must think Dak is the GOAT Cowboys QB, right?

Unless you don't believe your own tired logic that is....

Well? Do you believe your own logic or not?

Because Romo had all the same talent Dak had. lol

I remember watching the game and Tony was commentating, "man, they have a lot of good players."

If we insist on having debates about Romo vs. Dak, the least they could do is be honest about it.

Yes, but neither Romo or Dak had defenses like the Cowboys that won super Bowls. Not even close.

Wrong! Ask any fan who believes the Cowboys are better than the Eagles only because Dak is better than Hurts. They completely discount the other 21 players.

The eagles have talent for sure, the question would be if you put Dak on that team are they better?
