I think most just see the whole picture and dont think ABD is a sound plan because the team as a whole has lost these games. Again saying you want to see more from Dak is a completley diferent statement than 25 other QB's could've won a SB with this team.

I was/am a big Romo fan. I feel about the same when it comes to Dak.

I don't see either as legitimate HOF candidates, but both have won more games than the rest of the team could.

No someone implied Daks never had the squad to go . The rookie yr was a good team won 13 I believe he was rookie of the yr. What I’m saying is sweeping the streets with NFCE debris is nice but Daks in yr 7 and second yr of a four yr contract. I agree on later years. Perhaps year 3 on. Training wheels are off. All criticism is fair.

But what he accomplished as a rookie is great. There is a reason no rookie ever made it to the Superbowl despite the team they were on. Never. Not sure if any rookie ever made it to CCG. I have to research that.

We can't look back to a rookie year and complain based on what transpired since. You have to look at it at the time. Was he great? Out of this world? Crazy stats? No, no, no. But leading a team to 13-3. Going toe to toe with Rodgers a sure first ballot HOFer....yes losing at the end but that doesn't deserve the criticism if you evaluate it at the time it happened

I think Gore was a hell of a back. The beginning of his career the niners were terrible in his best years. Rarely played on a good team in his prime.

I think given the right circumstance early he could have been competing for rushing titles regularly.

He did have one 2150 yards from scrimmage year with the Niners. 1700 yards rushing that year.

The fact of the matter is the ability to beat the teams you play most often is a huge plus. I don't get bogged down in the whole QB won/loss record thing but I appreciate how important it is to win against your own division. The fact that with Dak at the helm this team basically starts every season 5-1 against the division is large.. Poo poo it all you want. Just remember the year he got hurt they went 1-0 with him and 1-4 without him against the division. It speaks for itself. Of course they have work to do to be better outside the division.. But that's a team thing.. just like the division record is..

true , there are few who are north of 0.500 against such teams , but i stil think at least 15 QBs who are paid less than dak could have achieved the same or similar amount of wins . at 42 mil a year you expect much more. Wilson for example made less but has a SB on his resume . stafford now has that as well.

well first Dak is not counting 42 mill vs the cap your going to be hard pressed to find a QB you can get that plays better this year and counts less towards the cap, Second Wilson won a SB with a team many think have a top 5 defense ever...he has not done much since that defense went away, he demanded a trade because of it. I get it, you think Dak is not worth his contract but again I'll point to what QB's are signing for right now..and other than Rookie contracts you cant name a winning QB who will play for 20 mill a year right now.

Dak was playing seriously injured during that game. Dak had a fractured index finger in his throwing hand, plus he had a torn labrum in his throwing shoulder before the game even started. Even then, Dak didn't play thar bad. But, of course, you Dak haters have to look utterly ridiculous blaming Dak (while playing with multiple injuries) for thar loss to the Eagles in Philadelphia late in the season. I agree, and lets hope the Owner/GM continues his holding people accountable thing of late....Dak is part of a team that to me underachieved for sure..lets see if he and this whole team (coches included lets not forget DQ got gashed in that game also) can right the wrong and move forward...if they can not they need to be held accountable including the QB, but in my opinion you dont have a better option you could get at QB this year than what you have.

Hell I'm even fine with giving him more blame than the other players because of the position he plays. However he has played some really good games only to be let down by other aspects of the team. Whether it be the defense laying down, the line getting into a hold-fest and yes, Zeke's fumbling issues in 2020. Not that he Dak doesn't have bad games.. All players do.. but the fact of the matter is he far more likely to have a good game than a bad one. Frankly that's all we can ask for. Hypocrisy where? I've never questioned Romo's past performances when playing injured. Romo playing injured was definitely better than any backups we had at the time. The same goes for Dak.
