Did Brady, Bradshaw, Montana, or anybody else ever have three 1st team All-Pro linemen, 1st team all-pro RB, RB that wins the rushing title by over 300 yards, HOF TE, and Pro Bowl WR.... All at the same time.

Where's the lie?
You keep leaving out an OBVIOUS QB who had everything around him when he won. And I mean EVERYTHING. I mean unless you think Kurt Warner wasnt elite.....so by your logic. Kurt Warner was propped up by his team.

In their first four seasons. Thats my fault that i didn't add that part. He's the third in NFL history to have reached this accomplishment in his FIRST FOUR YEARS.

Legit respectable credibility defined.... have a great day!!

What value does passing and rushing TDs have over passing TDs? There are lots of QBs who have many more total TDs than Dak their first 4 years. Seems like an intentionally misleading stats to imply this makes him special, when it simply disqualified players who did much better.

DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When BB drafts players, cut players, sign players, start players and bench players.....

Do you think his decisions are made by the color of the team uniforms at the players former college, the brand of cleats they where, or STATS????

DRUM ROLL PLEEEEEAAAAASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well you're good at research, I respect that. You said there's many more quarterbacks with better stats in their first four years.... well show me the players that did this in their first 4 seasons..... I'll wait....

I posted those numbers for the people who say Dak sucks, Dak is a tier 4 bum, etc.... im just trying to figure out how a 4 tier bum who suck can accomplish this in such a short time. You're intelligent, maybe you can help me understand why no other 4 tier bums that sucks have been able to put these numbers up in 100 years of football.

show me a SB winning QB and I will show you HOF players who played with them. The position of QB can only do so much, that includes defense. Stafford did a very good job with the Rams but it far from Stafford alone, unless Stafford was wearing a different number on defense.

This is basically where I’m at. I don’t love him or think he’s great. I also don’t hate the guy or think he’s bad. He’s got good qualities when he’s running and throwing…keeping Ds honest. He can light a team up and then look horrible. He can seem to be a great leader and then he can say stuff that sounds so Garrett like or things like the ref comment that make me cringe. We’ve won with him but I’m on the fence about where he can take us. But he’s who we have so have to hope and cheer. This past season was a roller coaster so hoping the downs get ironed out.

This is "IMO" one of the most accurate assessments on Dak that I've seen in any thread of him. I honestly couldn't have said it better myself!! Spot on post!!

Unless you’re arguing rushing touchdowns are superior to passing TDs, which would be a very odd argument, I’ll get you some QBs with more total TDs than Dak in their first 4 years (I’m also assuming you’re counting playoffs too, because Dak failed to reach 100 passing TDs his first 4 years otherwise).

Total TD (with your “including playoffs” asterisk):

Herbert 70 with 2 years remaining
Murray: 90 TDs before playing 4th season
Dak: 125 total TDs
Watson: 126 total TDs (in 3.5 seasons)
Russell Wilson: 136 TDs
Pat Mahomes: 141 TDs (in 3 seasons)
Marino: 147 total TDs
Josh Allen: 149 total TDs

And then you have semantics of 4 years of since drafted vs first 4 years of playing QB, as Rodgers, Rivers, Brady, Romo, were all backups for years before putting up stats.

Dak has had a statistically impressive start to his career, but not quite one of the best ever in terms of touchdowns, especially when you consider how that changes per era and how it’ll change going forward. The total TDs he’s put up have become the norm for a pro bowl caliber QB who started day one and has avoided major injuries

The only QB i have ever seen do the unthinkable was Tom Brady. He won a SB with Deion Branch as a WR. Thats about it. Otherwise. Every single QB in history has won with great players around them. Its like this poster has to give me ridiculous stats like that one above to prove his point.

Dak inherited a stacked team. Rookie QBs in the playoffs normally dont fare well so its not really proving anything except rookie QBs dont normally fare well in their first year. lol

I think Brady is the best but even Tom got help. That season NE rated as the #1 defense in the NFL. They had Rodney Harrison, Tedy Bruschi, Ty Law, Willie McGinest, Mike Vrabel, Richard Seymour, Asante Samuel. That takes nothing away from Brady but it does show this is a team game and while QB is a very important part it takes talent through out a team to win it all.

Is Prescott Accurate?

Can Prescott beat winning teams?

Can Cowboys win #6 with Prescott?

.......Eye Test Out...Dak Hate On!!

He that knows not and knows not that he knows not is a fool. Shun him...African Proverb.

I am a fair person, I say the same thing I said about Romo. You can not get past the division playoff round, then you are failing as the QB of America's Team the Dallas Cowboys. Danny White was ridiculed and all he did as a Dallas Cowboys QB is finish no.1 in all time TD throws, and go to 3 straight NFC Championship games. Romo and Prescott can not hold Danny White's jock strap.

However, the bar is low for the Arlington Jonesboys and their fans. All you need is to have great stats, a winning record against a pitiful NFC East and lesser teams, and be just above mediocre/relevant for Jerry Dumbo GM Jones.

Prescott is as good as Romo, in some ways better. But both Prescott or Romo are not good enough when you can not eclipse Danny White as a Dallas Cowboys QB.

and yet the book is still out on Dak. I agree, Danny played on a team that knew how to win and those championships outside of the one vs Washington were classic games. Dak and this team has to show they know how to win and what it takes to win. Right now they get in big games and as a team they look like they are playing not to lose instead of playing to win.

Like it or not, the QB is just like the pitcher in MLB, the only two players that carry the W-L record with them. For a reason, they control the game more than any other player.

Every case for or against Prescott does nothing but extend the arguments and here's what I don't get. In the greatest team sport created, why make it about one player?

You can post all kinds of stats but the one that really matters and is the crux of the argument that many have against Prescott is 18-24 against .500+ teams. Using his stats as defense against that record is nothing more than making the stats talk.

And it is very likely that any team they meet in the playoffs will be .500+

He has not arrived and will not arrive until that record gets better.

The only problem I have using that is it makes every QB look bad unless he is TB12....every other QB with some seasons under his belt fails that metric. Jimmy G is actually the shinning light behind TB12 in that metric and his team doesnt want him. Playoff record is a good one to me because it show that your team was good enough to get there so for better or for worse its tied to the QB.

This is what was missing from Romo and now Prescott...a Head Coach with brass...

No haters, just realists who know what the deal is and speak the truth.

Realists = Haters.
Every time someone claims to be a realist, they ALWAYS follow it up with something negative. ALWAYS.

And I am not talking about some constructive criticisms, that is different. As it is never anything constructive.

Didn't read a single word on this post. I don't care if Dak has 7k yards and 75 tds this year if we don't win some playoff games.
