If there's only one thing I know, it's that I know nothing. Lol

Probably not, we probably need "another year" to build the lines, but sometimes unexpected things happen.

Leggo COWBOYS!
You are being conservative, but that is understandable.
Watch the speed in this camp, and you will become more optimistic I bet.

My answer would be an emphatic NO. They weren't good enough last year when they had their best defense in years, and the #1 offense in the league. Since then they lost 3 starting players in Gregory, Collins and Cooper. They really did not replace any of those guys with players of the same talent level.

San Francisco man handled them in their playoff game with injuries to their offensive and defensive lines.

The Cowboys will absolutely take a step back in 2022. It is the price to be paid for being so passive in the offseason while Philly and NY went out and improved their rosters. There is an old expression, "If you are standing still, you are moving backwards".

Gregory was way over rated. His true colors were exposed in the playoffs. Williams was the worst player on the team, good riddance!!! Cooper was a Huge loss, hope they get lucky at WR.

Cowboys, like 90% of the league, play 11’s formation as their base. Would you consider Cedric Wilson a starting player? Was Connor Williams the starting LG last year or was he just an injury replacement? It felt like more than 3 starters, but maybe I misjudged some

No Wilson was depth. CW couldn't find his footing and went back and forth from the line up. Gregory is talented, streaky and unreliable. LC was also unreliable and the offense played better towards the beginning of the season with Steele, so there is hope. Coop is the biggest loss, but considering he was 32nd in the league in targets, it's fair to say he wasn't be utilized like the WR1 he is/was.

The back ups outplayed the starters in chunks last season.

The question is will the young guys (first and second year players) be ready to be day one starters?

Lamb can replace Coop, let's see who steps up to replace Lamb
If Gallup comes back and we have an established passing game than its game on brother.
Pollard, Washington,Tolbert, Fehoko, etc.. my boy Vash...lol
Somebody is going to step up, if not they all get a fair amount of looks in this camp, its good camp comp at several positions, and WR is no exception.
This offense needs to establish the 2nd TE, we dont discuss it much, but how close will be that battle for TE2 between McKeon and Ferguson, it might be a real close draw
on starting in 2 TE sets.
Our TEs are going to be extremely important to this offense early.

I'd like to see a big WR line up as a flex TE....make a LB cover him.

Ok, here we go for the last question right before TC starts tomorrow. At least reporting to TC.

The 3 pundits from the mother ship give their answers.

I am in a wait and see how they look on the field mode. But think they can be better if all goes right.

if injury bug or suspension bug stays away.....i like our team....yes i wish we would have gotten a good VET linebacker but still time....i think we are better than people think and not blowing smoke either

dang Ranching you got all the rings----- always knew you were better than me....but we or should i say most here are cowboy fans and want cowboys to be successful.....it is possible you could be wearing a 6th ring

on other hand this year but not highly likely....but not impossible....if we stay healthy and better teams dont....equalizer....if ball just seems to bounce our way....equalizer.....if refs for some reason are on drugs

and call the other team way more fouls....equalizer.....if all our players just have one of those years and play out of their minds....equalizer.......for all of this to occur same year very very low possbility but

not impossible.....that is how you gotta roll as cowboy fan......just like the 1980 Olympic USA hockey team...."Do you believe in miracles"....i choose not to be a realist until we are mathmatically out of it

No. Too many questions with the OL, Dak, wide receiver, run-stopping defense, Zeke, discipline, coaching and culture.

They should have been in the SB last year. They were that good, but they got hot too early and peaked too early.

We lost too much this off-season and did not acquire enough talent to make up for the gap that we showed exists between us and the worthy NFC playoff teams. So, we are not ready to make that next step.

That's a load of crap you are polluting yourself with. The Cowboys were in the playoffs because they were the best team in a bad division. However, they proved they were the worst team by far in the NFC playoffs. They were never a Super Bowl quality team last season.

I don't buy this at all. There is not much of a gap between players they lost and players they gained.
One can make an argument either way, but there is more of a case they will be better. Mostly because it is the 2nd year of Quinn's defense. So it will be more instinct and not so much mental and thinking before reacting. There will not be a drop off in the offense, and if so, not by much.

I like Ced Wilson, but I don't consider him a starter. I would consider him a key contributor though. We may be overlooking his ability to throw the football which they used a few times to make some big plays last year.

Connor Williams was a starter but I don't see him as a major contributor. I think Gregory, Cooper and Collins were 3 of the better players on the team.

Offhand, I'd say we're a year away.

Good thing is, we appear to finally be making the right moves.
