The offense struggling early in TC is a good thing

We're probably not going to do too well this season. Give it a year. Dallas is a team that builds through the draft, and our first round pick can run block, but has serious issues pass blocking. Our second round pick is supposedly a 3rd to 5th round pick from people I respect. That along with what we lost, I'm not confident we win the division. I wouldn't bet on it.

I'm more interested in our D. I'm not expecting much from our offense.

If it's anything like last year's, we have at a minimum a very good one compared to what we normally have. So, struggling against it in TC can actually be helpful as it's early, and they can learn how to fix it.

I like our second round pick, and I think Tyler Smith is going to be a good pick. I'm expecting a slow start to this season, mainly because our WRs are very inexperienced. I think we will need to pack our patience early on because there will be young mistakes from our WRs. But, I think we will be fine this season long term. We're not winning the Bucs game. I just look for us to show a pretty decent fight like we did last year. However, I can see us winning 10-11 games this season as they develop.

I do think the FO would be wise to sign Sanders or DJax. If they do that, then we would have an experienced WR that can help the rookies develop quicker and give Dak a reliable WR.

So Dak...in year seven (7)...is suddenly going to "find" his accuracy??? Not buying it....Average QB + Below Average WR's = Failure.

It's only a good thing if they have the players on the roster and coaching staff to overcome it. We won't have to wait long to find out.

Meh, it’s TC. Last PS we could barely score points as usual and even move the ball. Than we go to Tampa and play like gang busters and look like the best offense in the league. I’m taking the wait and see approach although our WR’s scare me.

It's really hard to predict this stuff. I'm just going by the Dallas SOP. It points to us not being much better than average. I truly hope that's not the case. But who knows?

Thing about training camp is if offense produced as they did on day 1 of the padded practice people ask what is wrong with the defense, then defense goes out the next day and performs well and all of a sudden it is what is wrong with the offense?

I think our WRs, except for maybe CeeDee if he can learn to catch the ball, are below average substantially. It's not a question of accuracy for me for Dak. Its a question of the WRs. This may be one of the worst groups of WRs I've seen with the Cowboys.

The WRs aren't good. However, I do think some of that may be because they're matching up with Diggs, Brown, and Joseph, who seems to be taking his focus to another level.

I think the defence is top 10. Another year of Quinn should mean this defence takes another leap. The Dline looks very good, Parsons is Parsons, our secondary looks fantastic, especially with Mukuamu and Bell. The defence, I have no concerns about other than maybe NT, but I'm also really excited about Ridgeway. That's definitely the strength of this team. The offense is middle of the road imo. Our kickers are awful. Can we please get the kicker from Japan that I usually bring up? His accuracy in the Japanese X-League is really good.
