NiCucci also had a good game, at least to me he did.

I don't really have a problem with that holding. It sort of looked like he tugged the lineman. Maybe questionable, but plays like that are going to get the attention of the the refs especially when the RB is coming through your hole.

I thought Ball was terrible in my quick view. I was already not a fan due to his past. I don't care if he has changed. If he is not a stud, I would rather just move on. The next few games are going to be important for his career.

I thought Bossman fats looks pretty ordinary too. I am surprised he was not on the bad list.

Tolbert was definitely forgettable but he's probably used to Dak getting him the ball at this point so I feel somewhat OK with it. Dennis Houston looks like he has an outside shot of making the team. And it was good to see Semi get a TD catch. Nooch showed me more in one game than his whole career thus far.

various:
Wright is a scheme guy. They can't put him out there in generic schemes unless it is for learning. They knew that when they drafted him.
He looked good on jam at line stuff and he'll likely be kept around for that upside.
Joseph is such a good athlete. Fast and physical. But man he has no clue during a play. Shouldn't look this raw in year 2... year 1 was a complete waste. I think he gets cut.
Ball is not a swing OT thats for sure. Dallas will need a vet if Ball is all they got behind the starters.

the number of successful 6’4 corners is basically zero.
I think Brandon Browner is the only exception.

But he played physically and punished you off the line.

But he also played in the Seattle Cover 3 with prime Earl Thomas playing safety. So his responsibility was to jam, bail, get help. They also had Chancellor in the middle so he knew nobody was coming across the middle.

Bland looks ahead of Wright at this point.
Let's see if Wright is better next game.

Wright and Mukuamu were bad draft picks. Adding fuel to my dislike of 6'4" DB's.

Sean McKeon puts in good effort when run blocking. He's lighter, but better than Shultz in that regard. Ferguson is lock, so how about we save the money and cut Shultz. McKeon has been here long enough to know the offense. I say save the money, because our offensive line isn't going to allow us to make a real playoff run anyway.

He’s just too stiff in the hips to play corner. Any player with any shift and he cannot cover. He gave up 100+ in one half
That's exactly how he tested 21 combine. A linear athlete. Never understood this pick at that point of the draft.

I fell asleep and didn't see the 2nd half.

But man was Wright bad in that first half. The guy has zero clue once the ball is in the air. What a colossal waste of a premium draft choice.

We're lucky to have Will McClay.

To get Osa, Golston and Wright with three measly 3rd round picks really sets this franchise up for success.

Drafting well all of the time.
