The Washington Commanders, hate that name, are similar to the Giants, but are more talented.

They have legitimate skill players that can hurt the Cowboys, but their OL might be worse then what we just faced the last two weeks, especially if Wentz keeps on holding the football. Gibson has hurt us on the ground in the past. Outside receivers are very good.

Defensively they still have a formidable front even without Chase Young. Running might be tough sledding, especially early on. Their corners are better then what we just faced, but still very beatable.

If Dallas Continues to play as they have over the last 2 games yes they can win, Cowboys need to continue to run the ball and defense need to continue to playing as they are, I have a feeling we will see Cowboys create more than 1 turn over in this game.

The Rush mania wave is as big as a tsunami. Rush has energized the entire team, offense, defense, and special teams. He has energized the fan base, the media. There's no way that team from Washington can withstand so much energy. Rush and the Cowboys win easy 30 - 16 :flagwave:

I hate to say that in the past this is the type of game that we lose. Just coming off a winning streak and facing a seemingly inferior opponent, I hope we don't let our guard down. I think if we do lose though, it won't be because of Rush. It's a division rival though so I don't think we relax at all.

While l think we can beat Washington following the game plan others have suggested; we have to be careful as this has the markings of a trap game. We are playing a bitter rival; no doubt they will be up for the game and let’s be real, records or stats don’t matter in this game.
The Skins are a talented team (sorry…refuse to call them Commanders); they have skill players; and they will be pumped to play us. We are playing well, but we tend to get over-confident, complacent and really feed off the hype, good or bad, that perpetually surrounds the team; we also have a tendency to play down to the competition.
Should we do, one or all of these things we will lose the game. If we can play disciplined, balanced and hard-nosed football for all four quarters we will win the game.

Broaddus has me thinking we are playing the 91’ Washington team except Wentz is the quarterback. Gonna be a tough game because they probably feel they owe us one after the 56 points we put on them last year. They have more talent then the Giants at the skill positions but the Giants are better coached. Washington has a lot of names and high draft choices playing as individuals.

I think the Cowboys can win this one. Washington might be more talented than the Giants, but not at QB. Yeah, I said it, Jones is better than Wentz. He got sacked 9 times against the Eagles. It's not getting any easier for him this week.

It all depends how well the defense plays

Again ..... I do not see how Wentz could survive this game without injury.

Micah is pissed that he did not get a sack last week.
I was thinking the same thing. He has to make up for last week

Between Cincy, NYG and Wash, this one is probably the most in Dallas favor.

538 has dallas favored by -2, but that is with QB ELO factored in. If you remove that factor, they favor Dallas by 8. That's because right now Cooper Rush has an Elo of 48 vs. 119 for Wentz. Normally I'm in favor of QB factored Elo, but I think the Cowboys are showing they are less in need of that QB boost. The constraint at QB is forcing an EXCELLENT job coaching.

Yeah this sounds like Denver from last year all over again.

Washington were missing both starting DE's and a few other players against the Eagles. They get those guys back this week. May not be as easy of a game as many think.
I still think we are the better overall team though.
