Where did this Dak go?

My opinion... Dak got his mechanics 'fixed' by the experts, and now thinks about mechanics too much. They got him thinking about hip rotation, weight distribution, & breathing out of the correct eyelid. Now he has forgotten how to just play football.

Where did this guy go? Rookie highlight video. Just looks like a different quarterback. We haven’t seen this guy play all 4 quarters like this since maybe the beginning of last season?

- isn’t afraid to throw deep or medium routes
- uses his legs when needed for first downs or TDS
- has receivers more ready to fight for the ball
- his offensive coordinator putting in plenty of play action

There are fans who never wanted Dak to succeed but I think most of us were onboard year one and most of us have become jaded with either what appears to be regression or hitting a ceiling. #3 and #4 above are on the coaches as much as Dak. It’s not all his fault. It’s a team game.

Look at the protection he has in the majority of those clips. No one is so much as breathing on him.

Well he could sit back, order a pizza, call his side girl, take a nap, and then make a read and throw that season. Anyone not completely brain dead could have done well behind that line.

Garret coached the Dak out of Dak.

Dak demolished the division last year, so I don't really know what kind of Dak people are looking for.

And yet people are flipping out over Rush putting 20 and 25 on the Giants and Commanders this year.

Beneficiary of an elite oline and an elite run game. Not to mention they had good receivers too!

All crazy talk.

I've said it in recent years...

Get the Oline fixed, which in turn will get the running attack back, then you will see the old Dak back...along with better and more balanced playcalling.
Yes! Make every other aspect of the team better. Then we will see how awesome Dak is.

Yeah, that Dak is long gone. Go grab a Zeke rookie highlight film too. He was really special back then.
