The defense didn't get a 3rd stop after we made it 20-17. They let them march down and score another 6. That was the ball game. Until the defense has true killer instinct that stuff happens. Right now they are just a solid Top 10 defense that can keep us in most games. Certainly not championship caliber that people have been touting. I don't see it.

We stopped the run.

38 rushes for 3.5 ypc is good. We didn't stop it at the end when we needed to was the biggest concern.

Defense got out schemed a few times when it mattered...the stupid scrum thing is annoying as hell.

Exactly. The reason they had so many attempts was bc they were scared to throw it up, didn't need to throw it up and we literally handed it to them 3 times and went for inexplicably on 4th down deep in our zone.

They're definitely championship caliber. Maybe the best pass rush in the league.

But defense only gets you so far in today's game. You're gonna have to score 30+ sometimes.

A Top 10 defense is a championship caliber defense in the modern NFL.

After the first interception I would’ve thrown Grier in there to throw off the defense. Rush clearly couldn’t handle the game. Not saying Dak could either but Grier would’ve thrown the Eagles defense for a loop. He’s the most mobile out of the 3 QBs on the team.

I dont think we were too bad against the run considering. Our offense was sooo bad that all they had to do was hand it off. They had a great scheme exposing Parsons a bit with our scheme. They were the first team to make him cover and play the run a lot. Clever, but its good for him to learn that.

Had our offense been moving the ball or scoring points, their run game would have been ineffective.
