Two Huge Reasons we Lost

Nope. Not even close. Need more around him. Micah was a beast tonight.

I dont think we were too bad against the run considering. Our offense was sooo bad that all they had to do was hand it off. They had a great scheme exposing Parsons a bit with our scheme. They were the first team to make him cover and play the run a lot. Clever, but its good for him to learn that.

Had our offense been moving the ball or scoring points, their run game would have been ineffective.

We were bad.

So there were zero adjustments at halftime?

Moore made adjustments and Quinn on the biggest drive of the game lost his mojo. Played against the pass like Hurts was throwing to Deshaun Jackson deep down the middle. Eagles probably ran 8 times in a row with our guys dropped into pass defense. Why not bring a run blitz, get 7 or 8 in the box and dare Hurts to beat us with the pass??? Then we he does drop back, bring the house.

The Cowboys did a better job defending the run than the Eagles did.

The Eagles averaged 3.5 on the ground today and outside of that last td drive didn't do much most of the game. Some challenges with the short QB sneaks, but don't think they were as poor as you may think. Here's my take on why they lost.

1) Rush didn't play well today, but I won't sit here trashing his performance because he won 4 games when the season looked lost.
2) Undiscplined football with untimely penalities
3) That odd sequence on the turnover on downs where we technically had a first down that was botched by the refs, then the coaching staff botched the no challenge, and then the players taking too long to execute. That alone didn't lose the game but take those points off the board and the game may play out very different.

Didnt matter because on the biggest drive of the game when we needed the stop, Quinn played his Super Bowl winning strategy that worked wonders against the Patriots!

That team being known to have an effective rushing attack when the defense has suspect run defense also factors in.

But yeah, they just caught our defense with a cold. Just a fluke.

More? He WAS the defense for the first few weeks. He's been injured at least twice this season already and still playing through it, unlike some creampuffs like Mr. Franchise Tag. The team did Micah dirty by not giving him help in the offseason, and they will likely shorten his career because of it.
