It's not, but nothing we can do about it for 2022. Very QBs out there that I think I would sign to big money deals, but that's just me. At this point though you have to hope for the best version of Dak moving forward. He's plenty good enough for this team to make a run with, but we need more consistency than what we saw against Detroit and Tampa.

Pretty accurate assessment. Except the part about him being plenty good enough. I'm not convinced of that. Good take though

Its the weekly posting of top performers on PFF grading scale. Game ball to........ rookie Sam Williams who had one of the better stretches in recent memory in only 14 snaps. Someone find this kid more snaps. Aside from the raw stats of 2 sacks and a forced fumble, he lead the team with a PFF grade of 93.3.... which is all-pro level play, and it is the second time this season he has gone over the 90 grade mark. More snaps please!

Starting with the defense since they were the collective star of this game.

1. Micah Parsons. 90.5
2. Jourdan Lewis 88.9 - caveat is the Lions had nobody at wr
3. Diggs - 77.0
4. Hooker 68.0
5. Draw. 67.0

Offense

1. Zach Martin 76.9
2. Dalton Schultz 75.2
3. Pollard 74.8
4. CD Lamb. 73.0
5. Zeke 71.1

Biadez and McGovern also play well scoring 70.9 and 68.2

What have been the Grades for Biadasz the first 7 weeks?

The only thing delusional around here is the constant Dak hatred.

The OP never mentioned our quarterback but you were the first to interject his name as usual.

Maybe the “hate” that you speak of is more directed at the Dak obsessed posters that drag his name into every conversation.

try a 12 step program to get off the “Dak”…….admitting that you have that problem is the first step toward recovery. Heal up and pace yourself….there’s a lot of season left.

Another reason PFF is a joke. Sam Williams is solid against the run.
Umm....i am normally right there with you on PFF...lol

I have been saying he is our 2nd best DE vs the run for a while now.

He is VERY physical and packs a thumb when he gets there. Also see him using the TE to tackle a RB as further evidence of his strength vs the run.

Sam Williams doesn't get enough snaps. However, if you just look at PFF grade for the season and don't consider snap count, Sam is our 3rd highest rated player on the defense behind Micah and Hooker...... and he's got a pro bowl level grade of 80.

They are grading him very favorably.

While I don't take PFF as the Football Bible, their grade for Bohanna is EXACTLY why this team needs to upgrade the 1T - 30.4 (his grade was 28.7 this game). He's a backup at best.

I actually think Bohanna is playing much better this year than last. Maybe next year is his year. I see him making plays now and then that surprise me. For a 6th round pick, I can't really complain about his level of play.

Next year Hill will be gone as he is a FA. I think they planned for Ridgeway to take his spot but the lost him. I supposed they will draft another DT or two in the next draft. It is probably their biggest needs now after WR.

60 overall. Surprisingly Biadasz grades out higher in pass protection than he does in the run game, which I think strictly based on perception that would be flipped.

That said though look at DTs he has gone up against and it makes more sense. Philly/Washinton/LA all have some monster run defenders on their interiors.

I brought up Dak because I knew PFF was going to rate him low, also because Dak's rating was not included in the OP. The only reason you're complaining is because you got triggered simply because I brought Dak up.

I'll bite. I don't like Dak. I think he is arrogant, has an oversized and very fragile ego, and tries way too hard to convince everyone around him how invaluable he is instead of just letting his game talk for him. It annoys the piss out of me.

However that has nothing to do with how I judge his play. Everything I said above is also exactly how I felt about TO. But there was no doubt in my mind that TO was a HOF caliber receiver

Daks marginal QB. And I say that with confidence and conviction, not because I don't personally care for him, but because I have functioning eyes and can accurately assess his level of play. Simple as that.

You need to get over this notion that everyone who criticizes dak does so for some personal or nefarious reason. There are a helluva lot of people who simply don't think he's all that great a QB. And the numbers of people who view him that way are expanding. It's not personal. It's performance related. Get over it
So you believe Dak is marginal, yet the stats say otherwise. Are his stats telling the truth or being deceitful?

That is the poster child for why stats lie.
Stats are facts and facts don't lie. The interpretation of the data may differ, but they still don't lie.
PFF player grades are not stats and are not facts.

You can get paid to "grade film" even if you've never played or coached football.

They do have some stats but player grades are not based on those.

One stat they have is QB targets. They divide the field into 6 areas (Right, Left, Middle and short/long). It requires watching game footage to make the determination but it is relatively easy to determine.

Just admit you hate Dak. It's so obvious just by reading your comments. I would respect you more if you admitted it, instead of posting childish commentary. One would think at 38, one would have matured enough by now.

Oh I despise Dak, never said differently. I thought at the age of 26 you would have figured that out by reading my posts like you do my profile page... weirdo.

Don't want to pile on because its all in good fun unless people take it too seriously.
However.....
They always have issues grading the o-line and secondary

Their main problem is that they make assumptions about what the assignment is for each play and then grade accordingly.
It is a gigantic, insurmountable flaw, but whatever.

This is on point, PFF grades on what should happen when how do we know they even know the assignments, if the LG pulls right and the center gets blown by and the DT smacks the Pulling LG before he can kick out the DE..PFF would give the LG a minus. Over a year i believe PFF can show some trends, I'm not sure its the best for grading individual games.

But that was also the 32nd ranked defense. Rush actually played some good defenses.
Stop. Rush played eagles and that’s all. He only need 14 points to win those games and needed a game winning drive? Stop the bs. Rush is a career backup at this point. Be happy he did his job and thankful dak is back. Some real clowns in the sports world

Some of you dak supporters are way too sensitive. I wasn't saying Rush was better. I merely said he played much better defenses than the 32nd ranked lions.
Bottom line is there should be a huge gap between a 40 million dollar qb and his backup. There's not in this case. Dak is the better qb without question. But let's not act like the defense didn't bail him out Sunday.
