I wouldn't put much stock into it. The NFL just wanted the Giants to cover the eight point spread (I think that is the terminology). After the miss, the Giants drove down the field and got favorable penalties (including the personal foul penalty on Parsons that no one saw) until they scored a TD to make it 28-20.

Would suck if NFL has become fake like wrestling. Nothing to stop it really. Owners want ratings and that is how you would do it.

I thought that was a big miss, not a huge one, but it could have been important in a similar situation with maybe a minute or two more on the clock. We have to be able to count on Maher to make those in critical situations.

Exactly! I would have been pissed if I had Dallas -10. I took the Giants plus 9 & half. :thumbup:
