starting Moreland instead of Choice vs a LHP
leaving in Figueroa vs a RHH with Ogando warm

Wash already in midseason form

The order for the next few weeks is keep it close and wait for the rotation to return. I do think the offense will be much better this year.

From what I have heard is that Moreland has really worked hard on improving vs LHP during the offseason; and in pre-season he faired well. Now, lets not get this twisted, he'll probably return to form but I don't have a problem letting him prove himself early on.

Also, Beltre: You da man!

some much turnover from last year on offense and yet these guys are as unclutch as the last years offense, yesterday's game was one the most horrible games i have seen.its really difficult to see them overtaking the As this year too especially when the As are pitching so well.

They've already had some clutch games early in the season, you can't expect clutch every time. Overall though, the offense isn't where it should be.

Looks like the Rangers are starting to heat up! Fielder has another HR today, and had one last outing.

How about that performance by Perez? I knew he was a highly touted prospect, but I thought he was further away from being a legitimate rotation guy. It would be huge if he can keep up what he's doing.

The offense will be fine once it gets healthy. Choo is probably worth about 1 run per game to almost any offense the way he's playing.

The team has to start playing a little better consistently, we've gotten lucky so far this year but whats already in the books counts.

MARTIN PEREZ! Indeed. Back to back complete game shutouts. Gotta give props to the Rangers organization for know what they had, not trading him when they had many offers, giving him a shot and locking him up long term on a team friendly contract. Love it.

That was a wild A's series, we were pretty fortunate in game two to have pulled it out with that bunting mess at the end but I'll take it, best record in the AL and we have three wins vs our biggest divisional competition.

The crazy thing is that they aren't even fully healthy. Harrison, Holland, Soto, Profar to start the season. Then we had Beltre, Scheppers, Yu, Choo, Beltre, Pedro, Kouz all miss some kind of time since then. We are winning with guys like Chrinos, Kouz, Murphy, Josh Wilson, Robbie Ross, Nick Martinez. The league better be ready when we become fully healthy. Harrison coming back Sunday will help, Beltre back Friday will help. Choo should be fine as well soon.

They've now won 8 of the last 9.
Best record in the American League.
Loved that sweep of the A's!

30 games in, it's about time for Prince to get out of his slump. He's starting to look like 2013 Angels Josh Hamilton.

Wow! What a bad day for the Rangers. I read one article that thought this was the worst day in Rangers history.
