Keep Crawford at DT and have Irving play DE until the druggies return. Irving showed he can rush the passer as a DE in the limited time he played last year.

Mayowa - Crawford - Thorton - Irving as the starting DL.

I completely agree. We need to have enough depth that we don't rearrange the roster after an injury/suspension. Play Crawford where he's best at. If he's better at DE, play him there and keep him there.

I thought the team felt optimistic about lawrence's appeal? That not true anymore?

this is where Jerry just needs to stop talking

Well if he said it, you know his puppets will do everything possible to make it happen. Draft decorating at its finest. Please coaches, make him earn it.

There was a list here a few days ago that quoted some Ciwboy insiders that said Crawford has noted looked good at all when he has been tried at DE. Take it for what it is worth , but I have my doubts too:

Why? What did Jerry say that was the least bit harmful? What did he say that wasn't accurate? He's a 3rd-rounder, and with the state of Dallas' DL, any 3rd rounder has a better-than-average chance of makng a significant contribution, or even starting.

He said no thngnthat was out of line. Your problem was that it was Jerry who said it.

Crawford at DE is no bueno.

He still may our best DE those first four games.

I made a mention of this possibility, though not specific to Collins. I said that if the DEs we were targeting in the second were gone by #34, it may be necessary to take a DT instead, and toy with the idea of moving Crawford for the first four games if it turns it he's our best bet at DE. Better to have two and average LDE beside an average 3-tech, than to have be good and one poor one.

Crawford was not good at DE, but he has experience playing there. Irving gave his strongest contributions from the 3-tech. That may just end of being the best Covington those first four games. If it is, then so be it.

Can i get this translated to english?

This was gregory roommate at Nebraska. He packed the bongs and greg smoked them. And 3 month apartment contract would be wise since he won't be living in the area very long.

There was an interesting talk on The Ticket today about Hardy and his negative influence on the team, especially the other DL because Hardy was such a dynamic individual... long post short... It was brought up that Hardy may have been a bad influence for Gregory.

That being said I think Gregory has the most pure-pass rush potential on the team.

IF he has his head on straight he can be a dynamic pass rusher.

Unfortunately that last sentence is about as big a question mark as any this football team has.

I also heard it wasn't just Gregory in the Hardy circle. Lawrence was rumored to be getting much too involved with him as well.
