Bye.......5-1
game 7 Vs Eagles.......3 2 **
game 8 At Browns.......0 6
game 9 At Steelers.....4 2
game 10 Vs Ravens......3 3
game 11 Vs Commanders....4-2
game 12 At Vikings.....5-0 **
game 13 At Giants......3-3
game 14 Vs Buccaneers..2-3
game 15 Vs Lions.......3-3
game 16 At Eagles......3-2

So we have 2 big games against a winning opponent, and then 2 with Steelers and Commanders,
who have a winning record but close to .500

The eagles game is big due to they seem to have a really good defense, but maybe not as
good as it looked early on closer to the cowboys right now.
Then vikings are 5-0 and we play there.

All games will be tough , but with this start we are over the hump.
Win 2 more and 7-1 at mid season !
Definitely possible.

All that remains is to see who starts at QB in eagles game and browns game.
I sure would like to see the dak adventure continue, to see what happens.
30-16 over packers is pretty impressive, and about the same as the cin score.

All these upcoming games seem winnable to me at this point.
Elliot should have 700 yds now?

I see six very important games, the division ones and DET/Minn. They all are big games but the AFC falls to the bottom.

Every team on our schedule can beat the Cowboys. Just because we have won some games does not make any of those games easy. The gap between the worst teams and the best teams is smaller than most people realize.

Even beyond that, of the 10 games we have left, only 2 of them have losing records.

10 games left and at least 6 would be considered big by the media. 4 NFCE games, Steelers and Vikings. Lions are playing good ball and could be a problem so count them as a big game. So at least 70% of the remaining schedule are "big games".

Ecstatic that we are 5-1! :starspin::starspin:

Steelers, Vikings, Eagles , Commanders, and Lions are all formidable opponents. Actually if you look at our schedule, only two opponents have losing records. Gotta take all the games seriously.

But I do believe that we have the capability to beat any team in the NFL now, whether we do it or not is up to the players and coaches. Man, I sound like homer.

A lot of those games are going to be tough, the Giants and Lions being two from our schedule I worry about.

All games will be tough
I did say this lol
Even cleveland could beat us, but the last 2 weeks all I heard was dak needs to be a good team, and cin and GB were
stated as good and big opponents to provide a test for dak led cowboys.
But now they were not big games ??

The vikings game will be the hardest to win.
And the eagles game will be big, dak vs wentz is enough to make that big.

I'm actually not as worried about the Eagles now that Johnson is out, and their front 4 on defense came crashing back down to earth. Wentz took 5 sacks today with Johnson out and they gave up almost 7ypc for 230 yards.

They have Minnesota next week and we'll get them after a bye. We're catching them at a great time.

Agreed, plus the East is competitive this year. It's possible that 10-6 will not win this divison. We've got to mop everybody up and not lay a dud.

We're suddenly a team vying for the No. 1 seed and a bye. When you're in that position, they're all big -- because a single loss can be the difference between home field and a bye, or having to play on wildcard weekend.

Home field advantage will be huge, especially if everyone has to play in Minnesota. The league shouldn't allow teams to build stadiums that freaking loud.

Two things: One, never discount division games, just ask the 1989 Commanders. Two, everyone always plays the Cowboys like its their Superbowl. Every game is just as winnable as it is possible to lose.

Those games may not look "big" by record but I see some tough games there. Not saying too tough to handle but there are some games up there that if the Cowboys don't show up they will lose. They don't have the Browns every week.

Long way to go but Big Ben tore his meniscus yesterday..if he plays he won't be 100% but either way every game is a "big" game. Enjoy the week off and lets get the rest of the team ready to go for the next two months!
