This is funny, Williams quotes....

  • Dak can't win a game like a Brady can.
  • There's a reason Dak was only a 4th round pick. You saw why yesterday
But Brady was a 6th rounder, 2 rounds lower than Dak. Is there a reason for Brady's draft status? lol.
Sports talk shock jocking has made firmer players turn into the people they hate when they played. All for the money. Sad

I was listening to one of the Sirius NFL shows when Williams popped up as a guest speaker. Here are a few of his comments about Dak:

  • I've been saying all along, Dak is a game manager.
  • Dak can't win a game like a Brady can.
  • Zeke is the reason more than Dak that the Cowboys won so much last year
  • There's a reason Dak was only a 4th round pick. You saw why yesterday

One freaking bad game and the cockroaches come out of the woodwork.
They have been waiting a long time to say something negative. Dak will put them back in their hole Monday night.

Did you notice the change in philosophy in the coaching in washington? When people compare Dak to situations in other organizations or try and compare him to Brady and Rodgers right now they show their ignorance for Daks situation clearly. Daks proved plenty, he had a bad game. Get over it and stop trying to over analyze him because you see acknowledged Cowboy Haters on espn or NFLN spouting hate every chance they can. Get you own opinion on Dak instead of trying to pass theirs off as absolute.

You bring up RG3, anybody with knowledge of his situation knows he fell off because injuries robbed him of his skills. Then returned to a team with a coach who didnt want him.

Dak is in a situation where he is allowed to devlop while playing. DEN just played the perfect game vs Dallas. Just like NYG did last yr. How many times did that happen last yr? Before you go on a rant about proving himself. Look at Daks rookie yr. He basically matched Romo's 2014 yr which most will call his best. And he did it as a rookie. He's proved enough.

But then again some Cowboy fans cant handle success, if Dak has agood yr this yr they will come back next yr and say the same things until he has a bad yr then they will say see i told you.

Maybe just maybe they have played some of the leagues best defense in the nfl the first 2 weeks. And came away with a loss in one of them games.

In the real world football players have to prove themselves everyday. Except to groupies and fans that have no clue what real men do in the real world. The only one over analyzing things in this conversation is you. All i said is there is nothing wrong with proving yourself. I'd rather see him play with that attitude than him sitting back and saying, i have nothing to prove. I won 13 games last year and i have Latinmind to back me up.

He had a 53% completion percentage, threw a pick and fumbled twice. They got a weird definition of very good out there in South Philly.

Exactly. If we had the Philly defense, we may have even won last week the what we are calling a putrid offensive performance. We have all become accustomed to it being a given that if the offense isn't producing long drives ending in TDs the defense will absolutely give up huge points. That is our reality, but other teams don't have that same reality.

Everyone talks about the goat and what comeback last Feb, but at 28-3 that comeback doesn't happen if the D doesn't shut down the other team.

I'll just take the Philly front four and be happy.

Dak is not tom Brady
Well I never knew

And Tom Brady wasn't Brady until about 5 years. Those first Super Bowls were all about defense and game management. Even the Seattle win included a whopping one pass which traveled over 12 yards in the air. And that was to a wide open Gronk after a blown assignment. Not to mention if the D doesn't make the clutch play of all time they lose again.

Yeah I'm going to disagree with this assessment. Brady has always been Brady and I don't care how long his throws are he won early SBs with WRs that were subpar and basically a cast of bad RBs. One WR had to play DB. The guy brought them down on game winning drives. Your comments don't represent reality JMO

Believe it. The defense held the greatest offense to ever play to 17 points. He threw a pic to end the season against the Chargers, and Troy Brown caused a fumble on the return to give him another chance. He threw a pic to end the season against the Raiders, only to have a rule applied which no one had ever heard of to give him another chance. And his defense has never allowed a TD drive after he put them ahead in the final 5 minutes of the 4th quarter. Tony had something like 15 of those, IIRC. Dak had a few just last year.

Don't misinterpret what I'm saying - to me Brady the unquestionable GOAT. But this is a team game and if he played with our defensive philosophy and players, he wouldn't have 5 rings. And at least the first few of those 5 were more Belichick's than Brady.
