Maybe mods can modify to a poll.

1st round pick: Calvin Ridley, Christian Kirk, Roquan Smith, DT?

2nd round pick: TE (kid outta SD State?) Wisconsin kid, Oklahoma kid?

3rd round pick: Safety or BPA?

TE is a position of major upgrade IF we wanna make this offense Dak-friendly!

I envy the Eagles with their two studs, obviously the Pats and Gronk, and the Vikes’ Kyle Rudolph.

Kirk would be a reach in Rd 1 IMO. I'd like to go DT in Rd 1 but if the theories of this team hold true, they don't value DTs that high. R. Smith will probably go higher than 19, but he'd be a solid pick at 19. I am torn on Ridley but would be OK if he were the selection at 19.

I know it sounds need based and reactionary which has historically been the Cowboys approach anyway, but I just can't seem to shake off last year's Tyron Smith and Sean Lee absences and the effect they had on team performance.

So I guess Left tackle and linebacker. I know, I know. Receiver as well. Hard for me to prioritize one over the other.

DT or LB in 1st round. Get speedy WR in 2nd. OT to develop in the 3rd if there.
What ever they do, they can get all 3 but just a matter of order as you said. Prioritize, so I guess BPA until the y gat all 3.
Well I guess really they need all 4. So what is the lowest priority to get in the 4th round.
However with 4 comp picks we can move up in the 2nd or 3rd to get all 4.

you forget the kid in KC and one of the best tes over in Carolina? nothing to sneeze at

Calvin ridley is interesting but 4.35 is his best time, that fast but I'm thinking we need guy smaller and under 4.3 ..i don't know his game much as I'm not a AL fan..

Hope so.
Vea would be great. But some seem to be high on Hurst. Compare him to Donald and size wise. I like Vea, he is a big body and could be that run stuffer we need so badly
I like Vea too. Hurst is a 3 tech, and since we have Irving and Collins there I'd rather land the run stuffing, pocket collapsing 1 tech, unless Hurst is Donald 2.0.

Would it surprise me if say McGlinchey, the OT from ND, was there at 19 and we took him? It would not.

This has been a sore area forever. Garrett wouldn't know how to use them both.

I get wanting to replace Witten, I really do. But if all they are going to do is play the player sparingly, I would not spend a premium choice on a TE this year.

It is not that we couldn't theoretically use one. I do not trust this staff to use the player adequately to make the pick worthwhile.

Until Witten is officially gone, I don't see the point in spending our third premium pick on the position since he has been on the team.

That is kind of rich to take yet another OL. That would be way too BPA-ish. They really do not operate that way.

This is why I would just look at FA and see what upside, cheap TEs are there.

I wouldn't lay odds on it but it would certainly not surprise me.

Sadly, I think it's more likely you could see us take an OT there than a DT. I'll believe they have a new outlook about DT and not using high assets on the position when I see it.

Until you have the BALLS to take Witten off the field please DO NOT waste a 2nd rounder on TE.

1) Christian Wilkins DT or Vita Vea DT
We need to make this defense unstoppable and we can start by getting a pass rushing DT that pushes the pile.

2) Move up with 2nd & 4th round pick trade - Anthony Miller WR - or if he's not there, get James Washington WR - fast and put up monster numbers

After that, all I need is a TE - 3rd or 4th round = I'm looking at - Mark Andrews*, TE, Oklahoma or Adam Breneman, TE, Massachusetts

After that, it really doesn't matter who you get. We just need to hit on three studs and I'm hoping these are the studs we can hit on.

Get 1 high priced player in FA, possibly a Safety or Corner or Wide out - and then get one more of either of the choices I just gave.

So all in all - We need big or get after DT - Draft - Fast receiver - Draft & FA and TE - Draft or FA

Yes. We are allowing player worship to hold back this offense. It's a mental illness.

He's been a TE here for 15 years but somewhere along the line he morphed into a God who gets to decide when he will leave us and in return we pledge our undying loyalty to him. There will never be another. We strive to be half the man he is. If that's even possible. Stuff like that.

I'd fire him yesterday and have to take my pants back to the pants store because of the optical illusion due to the pattern.
