What about taking a team to a museum makes u think of social worker or guidance counselor? To me it seems he’s looking for away to light a fire under them. I hate Garrett as much as the next guy but I won’t fault him for something that’s not there. My point. We have a social worker/school teacher/guidance counselor for a football coach.
Garrett should actually choose one of those professions
Its better than a 'field trip' to a nightclub or a Giants style 'boat trip'. Some great museums in DC - all worth visiting.
Not sure why this is even a post, why would anyone be upset about going to a museum, education and history are the fabric of the world, there are museums on just about every subject in history or science and everyone who visits one of them comes away richer for the experience. Right with you up to paragraph 2 which is not needed.I do not see what the big deal is.
For those who have an issue with them taking the team on a tour of anything, that is quite common with all NFL teams as teams do things like this every year. The Cowboys have visited many different locations together over the years including the 9/11 Memorial Museum and no one had any issues with that.
For those who have an issue with them visiting an african-american museum, have you ever stopped to look at most of the players you are rooting for each week? Most are african-americans and most of their non-african-american teammates view them as brothers and/or teammates rather than another race.
Everyone who is upset about this needs to get over it.
And fair warning ..
Anyone who makes political, racist (including BOTH ways), etc. comments here can expect to have their accounts suspended.
Because I deleted several posts of people complaining about it for political/racial reasons. Not sure why this is even a post, why would anyone be upset about going to a museum, education and history are the fabric of the world, there are museums on just about every subject in history or science and everyone who visits one of them comes away richer for the experience. lol...leave it to you to go there my man...smh.John Holmes???
I am pretty sure this branch is part of that overall network, right? there are several "Smithsonian" museums (e.g., natural history, aerospace, art, etc.) in that area, of which the AA Museum is a part...that's my understanding at least.I'm sure it will be very educational.
I would hit the Smithsonian while i was there too.
I believe you are correct.I am pretty sure this branch is part of that overall network, right? there are several "Smithsonian" museums (e.g., natural history, aerospace, art, etc.) in that area, of which the AA Museum is a part...that's my understanding at least.
