This is stupid.

No coach or player thinks about football 24/7 so what does it really matter how he spends his downtime. As long as he’s not out committing crimes or something.

And I think all this “sending the wrong message” stuff is BS. Highly doubt the players and other coaches care if he spends some off time at a baseball game, at a movie, or just goofing off at home.

No one cares except for some fans on the Internet and some talking heads in the media. It’s stupid.

JG has always preached to his players to get away from football during the bye week. He is just following his own advice. Nothing wrong at all with it but I realize the habitual haters will have to field day with it. It's like raw meat for them.

So another former head coach, one who has won a national title in college and two Super Bowls questions it.

Eh, what would he know?
It's called creating news..they gotta do something with Jimmy, he's on a flight back to FL now

Yesterday, Jimmy and Troy made fun of Jerry's comparison of Dallas being like the Rams on TV lol.
You would think that kind of criticism from two of the men who helped Jones get his trophies would bother him.

It doesn't. It just emboldens him more to say he'll show 'em.

Sadly, he never ever does. He just eats it and screams into his pillow at night, stares at the man in the mirror, etc., etc., etc.

Garrett going Hollywood. Maybe he was trying to recruit Manning and needed Paisley’s help.

The truth is. People only care because Garret hasn’t won anything.

Bill Belicheck could be videotaped hanging out at a strip club, getting lap dances and motor boating the strippers until 5am in the morning. And nobody would care.

The NFL is a results oriented league. If you win, people don’t scrutinize. If you don’t, people will scrutinize.

Garret has the power to get people off his back. He needs to just win.

Precisely.

He has done absolutely nothing to enjoy the privilege and job security he has.

In a normal NFL city, he is feeling pressure. The only other city like it is Cincinnati, where another old and idiotic owner like Mike Brown with a similarly poor organizational structure holds no one accountable either.

Because he’s so vibrant it’s easy to forget, Jimmy is 75 now. He can be forgiven for early signs of dementia.

Well when your team is below .500, and you've been mediocre your entire career here, you deserve it.

As for him being about to goof off and go to a game if he wants instead of working, sure he can goof off, but going to games isn't the answer. Goof off in private, watch a game, a movie, something....you don't have to go publicly to games a long way from your home.

Not only did he go to the game, he wasted time getting there. Pathetic, if it was in Dallas I could see it, otherwise pathetic.

I wish I could like this 100 times.

BTW, I'd love to see a video of Belichek doing this.
