Changes will be made here, but what good are changes if they are not an upgrade? You also have to keep in mind that you have to look at what your options are, and who will actually want to come here.

Who would you bring in as HC/OC that would actually come here? Who could survive in this culture?

Here are a couple of options:

Tony Romo (HC)
Kingsbury (OC)

Both of these guys have fantastic offensive minds. Romo is aggressive as hell in his approach.

Neither have NFL coaching experience, but both are obtainable. If we are going to make a change, then go with an aggressive approach for a change.

I think both.could coexist with Jerry too.

Tony would be an idiot to leave CBS.

If anything, try to get Lincoln Riley or someone who appears to be an up and coming OC who isn't playing with a top 10 all time QB.
What I mean by that is don't get fooled thinking that Gase was some mastermind when he had Peyton Manning as his QB.

Tony Romo is not "obtainable".

There's not a chance he would trade the dream job he now has to give up seeing his young family to be Jerry Jones next punching bag.

Tony Romo has won the Game of Life and no longer needs to deal with the Jones madness. The crazy talk needs to stop.

No to Tony Romo. I want the Garrett/Romo/Witten/Lee leadership as far away from this franchise as possible. It has yielded absolutely nothing.

jerry should just take over head coaching duties and make garrett a special assistant. it's the only thing al davis did that jerry hasn't yet done. be a hc.

Why on gods green earth would Romo leave his job to coach this mess? He probably works 30-40 hour weeks now and gets to see his wife and his kids. Why would he want to go work 80+ hour weeks under the Jones gang and end up sleeping on an office couch some nights at the Star?

The probability is Zero Point Zero Percent.

Troy as GM.
He can put a staff together. A great coach will not want to work for Jerry.

I am not sure why Romo would do it as stated has a great job with time to be with his family.

But some times these guys just love the challenge.

I certainly would feel him out.

Romo is not an option. Why in the world would he leave a cushy job announcing games once a week to the grueling schedule of an NFL head coach and also having to work with Jerry which is a lose/lose situation? No way is Romo going to coach here.

Tony Romo as head coach!!!! Aren't we already living the nightmare of an ex player with really no coaching experience running this team.
What has Romo done to make you believe he can build the perfect coaching staff to fix this mess? What has he done to show us he knows how to evaluate NFL talent on both sides of the ball?
Oh wait Jerry Jones will keep the same coaching staff while he learns on the job.
No thanks

I think that any change would be a upgrade. He won’t fire anyone until he is convinced the season is over.

This is out of left field but I'd install Will McClay as HC to evaluate the rest of the season and let Sanjay Lael take over the offense. Then hire all new coaches after the season. This will at least remove Garrett and Linnehan which will give us all some relief.. McClay was HC of the year in the AFL in 2006. So I think he can do it. This scenario IS more realistic than people clamoring for Tony Romo. That just isn't happening. LOL
