These players probably didn't even know that T.O. had did that once. lol This team is so far removed from when the Cowboys were great and had players who cared.

Players do not play for teams; they play for money. There is no loyalty in the NFL. Just watch the players after a loss interacting with players that just beat them but they've got to play nice because they might soon be joining them.

The days of throwing a funeral wreath in the opposing locker room are gone. That's why I don't care if they realign to achieve more regional rivalries because the long standing ones are gone. Time was, it was a knockdown drag out but no longer.

The first sign of how FA would affect team loyalties was Sanders' obvious lack of loyalty going to the Niners, a division rival, then to the Cowboys a conference rival and finally to the Skins, a division rival. I am not critical of the players or the money they make but that has not made it a better game. There was a time I could put the $ out of my mind and just enjoy the games but no longer. It is really only about the $ to the players and I can't fault them.

We try to keep thinking of the old days when our players would have gone to war over that.....Jerry has single handedly destroyed those days and this entire franchise, and for most of us THAT will be his legacy.

Really? Why was Teague the only one to hit TO, we have a team of young players, what do they know?

Preston Pearson was the only player on either sideline in SB X that had ever played for a different team than the one he was on.

Based on what Jerry had done for the past 2 decades, I don’t think he respects the Star either.

I'm talking pre Jones era when the Dallas Cowboys meant something. Tex, Landry, Brandt, and Murchison that built the empire that Jerry has turned into an outhouse.

If Vander Esch drew a flag on his hit on Mariota Byron Jones would have been ejected for delivering a big hit.... personal foul...unnecessary roughness on a defenseless player with no class.

To be honest, sometimes a defending send off can fire up a team. As good as Jones as become, him getting sent off might well have sparked the team. How many times have we seen baseball or basketball teams get fired up if a player gets sent off for defending a teammate or so? I don't want it becoming habitual, but I do think that might have sparked the team to defend him. However, considering that nobody else defended the star, I don't know if that would have worked that way.

Everyone considers George Teague a true cowboys for defending the star, even though he didn't play here for that long.
True, but he also was a huge part of our last playoff win of the 90's (FYI he wore #30 that season). Against the vikings he caused turnovers on 3 straight series. First, he stripped a vikings WR after a long completion that would have been a TD. Ball went through the end zone for a touchback. Next possession he caused a fumble, possession after that Teague had a pick-6. His 2nd greatest day as a Cowboy, lol!

This looks a little better. We keep seeing only Jones. Others show up and Titan back off. Not very aggressive, but it was more than Jones. Jones just got there first.

Yup, I started a thread about this very topic. This team has no heart. None what so ever. Off the top of my head, I could name at least 12players from the 90's SB teams that would have lead the charge to knock those titan players off the star, lead by the Playmaker.

5th year option.

So you're just going to ignore what actually happened to try and strengthen your complaining?
Oh I am sorry. One player reacted. One. Out of an entire football team. Our coach didnt even care. This is supposed to be the guy that learned under Jimmy and knows the value of the star. Right?

Who cares about any of that crap. Just win the game. I so wish I was a fan of an organization that was focused on winning instead of branding.
