So I’ve seen several people in different threads advocating tanking if it means JG gets fired. Assuming we lose the majority of our games and that means JG getting fired, who will go on record saying they want us to lose? This means starting Sunday, who wants the Eagles to win to help JG get fired?

I'll go on the record as saying I don't want them to tank. You don't improve the team or the young players by giving up midseason. Besides that, if the team (including Jerry) were to intentionally tank, then those games would have no bearing on whether Jason stays or goes anyway. You can't blame a coach for not winning games he was instructed to intentionally lose.

If I have to be miserable watching this junk...then I want JJ to be miserable. That only happens if they lose and it's on national tv, where everyone pokes fun at JG and this offense. I hope they lose every game by 30 the rest of the year.

JG/SL are not HC's in 2018 football. The game has passed them by. Need new blood. Losing accomplishes that.

In this case, I’m not talking about the players personally tanking, I would hope that’s never the case. I’m basically saying who wants us to lose in order for JG to get fired and sure, a higher draft pick (even though it’s a 2nd) is another “perk”.

Ughh,,, I will never root for this team to lose. Doesn't matter, until the Jones' family is away from the Dallas Cowboys. Nothing will change. This is what it is. Dallas is the Raiders of the NFC in regards to Front office matters. Still, I will watch them. Won't necessarily support them in gear, except for the Cooper jersey the kids wants. Otherwise. nope.

Are you actually talking about "tanking", which is intentionally trying to lose, or just losing because the team isn't very good?

I don't think want is really a factor. They are just going to lose. Its just that some see the benefit in losing where others don't. So if they lose, its not a big deal. Now if you could tell me 100% Garrett would get fired if we lost, then I would be hanging on every play wanting us to crash and burn.

Forget about this season.

We just don't have it. I don't care if we're mathematically still in it.

We've wasted too many seasons and Dallas needs real change and not some position coach.

Yeah, I’m being hypothetical here by asking if we knew for a fact that JG would be fired if we lost the majority of our remaining games.

Then I would 100% want them to get destroyed.

In fact, I would suggest some kind of a countdown on the site. Maybe post it on the header? "Days left until Clapper gets fired" Make it the date the day after the last game of the season.
