This has been painfully obvious throughout the season and why Dallas struggles on offense. This is why I don't think this team is committed to this QB. Our passing game is limited to curls, comebacks, short slants, passes behind the LOS and the occasional deep sideline route. That's not a gameplan you would implement if you intend to move forward with this QB.

We used to throw over the middle more. But the completions weren't there. I'm fine with simplified field for Dak. Short balls, and long ball along the sidelines. Fewer defenders to worry about.

What happened here is we only took two shots over 20, four shots over 15. Gotta take some long shots or the field gets too short.

Did anyone watch to see how Cooper was taken out of the game?

I think that's what it is. I looked at these charts over a few games. Middle of the field had lots of misses. So we stopped throwing there so much.

If we used Dak as a runner, that would offset some of his limitations as a passer. But Garrett gonna Garrett.

Dak’s obviously averse to interceptions, hence the lack of targets over the middle.

Oh, and the TEs aren’t very good.

If he can get away with safer throws while moving the chains and scoring TDs, then that’s great. The problem is we aren’t scoring TDs in the redzone. Duh.

Hilarious that Dak’s staunch haters think this passing chart was some sort of revelation.

Those could all be first read completions what your insinuating is that because there are throws throughout the field he must be looking everywhere but no they are all probably first read completions

It shows he can’t throw past 20 yards and only does it 1-2 times a game. Also that he hasn’t been very effective when he does throw just garbage yards and completions

Notice who the OC was on this. "Decoding Callahan". This is what I've been saying. Callahan tried to change our scheme and add more WCO concepts. Added more crossing routes to the scheme. JG didn't like it and got Callahan fired.

Under JG, all we mainly run our come back routes and not many horizontal routes.

There were several reports that mentioned JG and Callan butted heads. They didn't "fire" him but they demoted him from being the OC/OL coach to OL coach and JG brought Lineman in to be the OC/Passing coordinator. They pretty much pushed him out.
