this is Jason Garrett's crappy offensive scheme. Its been that way. Our outside wr's barely run in breaking routes. We never really throw over the middle of the field.

It's Linehan's scheme and even if you truly do not believe that it is Linehan that is calling the game. JG's offense was a big play offense that attacked down field especially down the seams of the field.

Dak's 455 yards and 3 tds last week, his cowboys record of 17 straight completions and his record 42 completions in a game cannot happen if your statement is true.

Their was an article that analyzed Dak’s passing chart from 2016, it was the same and they said one way Dak needs to improve from his great rookie year, meaning the article was nothing but high praise for him, was the intermediate to deep middle part of the field which he tends to ignore. They were basically saying that he showed a tendency of avoiding that area even when he had the throw and was looking that direction. And this is the area they specifically pointed out where he was different in his chart than Romo with Linehan in 2014.

And the offense is actually outside the hashes first type of offense, that moved inward. That’s the Coryell for you..

I've said many times, defenses dont have to worry about the middle of the field. Even a lot of the middle of the field passes are curl routes or dump offs to Zeke. All out side the numbers or at best just inside the numbers.

When your new wr complains about 3 straight curl routes in a row tells me he's probably never had to run 3 in a row or at least very few times in his career . That's out to go route.

There are three camps if you take opinions outside the forum into consideration. Camp Jerry Jones decided it found a new franchise quarterback by late October 2016. Could be several more years or never before that separate opinion changes.
