Silver-linings, smh.

:lmao2:
not the point....try to keep up... the game is over.... you can keep celebrating the loss or move on and evaluate

he was pimping Goff's lack of total yardage due to the running..... well his Yards per Pass were way down too

Cowboys 10% on 3rd down. Rams were almost 50%. Yes. Dak was statistically better.

But it didn't matter. We couldn't get them off the field on 3rd down. And they threw us off the field on 3rd down like old trash.

It's the main reason we lost.
well we were 3-4 on 4th

I've defended Dak all year along those same sentiments but when we needed a play to keep the chains moving, he threw behind the receivers as they were crossing the field, over and over again at critical junctures. This is the Playoffs, practice time is over, now we go home. He layed an egg bruh...

I thought it was pretty typical, but I wasn't wowed by his performance. I can see why you'd think he laid an egg. I've come to expect him to be a pretty average QB, and that's what I thought he was last night. If he was making the crucial plays and throwing with better accuracy I'd think he was an above average QB. Unfortunately we don't have that.

The 44 yder to Gallup was not stat padding

Of course it wasn’t and that was because the Rams have one of the most inept secondaries in the league, especially when Aqil Talib goes out, like he did for concussion protocol. The Rams defense was number 1 in the league for giving up big pass plays and it’s why as soon as Talib went out and the stupidity of that backfield manifested itself again, Wade dropped his CBs like 10 yards off. As soon as Talib went back in, Dak was Dak.

Teams get these type of plays on the Rams regularly which is why I said, if this game is close it’s possible they can win because the Rams always gave this tendency to do this. That doesn’t make Dak a good QB or not be mediocre.

On Gallup’s TD it was first and TWENTY and their bone headed DB let Gallup get behind him wide open.

I would love to tag a few people in this one but I'm going to chill. They'll spin it wonderfully as usual.

First of all both qbs played poorly so talk about damning with faint praise.

But also Dak literally got 49 of those yards on our last series when the Rams played as soft as there is to play.

He got another 48 of those yards on the first series of the game running scripted plays (great throw to Amari for the TD and great run by Amari).

So for those counting that's the first and last drives of the game that amounted to 97 of his 266 yards. During most of the rest of the game when the battle was won he was his typically awful self. Missed open receivers. Took unnecessary sacks. Failed to run when the opportunity presented itself.

I'm reminded of the play on the designated roll right in the latter part of the game. Amari Cooper was on that side of the field and was WIDE open off his break. There would have been no other read for Dak to look at. He just doesn't pull the trigger. Panics and then throws a 3 yard laser at Rico who can't hang onto it. I almost threw my phone.

Change my mind

Dak- 20-32... 266yds .....1TD..... 1Rushing TD
Goff- 15-28 ....186yds.......0TD

But, Dak's missed throws get highlighted a lot more and are made to be a lot more worse. Yet, even when Goff missed throws, I saw praise in the game thread for him being a "real QB". Yet, for all of the build up of being a better QB, Goff missed more throws than Dak. And it all game down to which opposing defense was able to stop the run and get off of the field.

You're right. He is what he is... Average passer, only above average when he runs...

Threw 4 passes less than Dak.

Completed 5 less and 100 less yards.

Yeah because he didn’t need to throw down field.

Get off google and watch the games please.

Dak played better because he was forced into it. Dak did a good job. He’s not the reason we lost.

But parading around and acting like the game flow didn’t factor into it is just being ignorant.

The amount of early reads he missed is amazing. I get that QBs might miss 2nd or 3rd reads given factors like pass rush, etc.

But there are plays where he’s looking at his first read and it’s like he has Chuck Knoblach disease and can’t pull the trigger.

No better description of what Dak is.. scripted he’s fine.. prevent and soft zones, he gets his stat padding QBR numbers up..
