Don't expect much medical info to be released about McDowell. His family has made a point of keeping the details as secret as possible.

Teams are restricted by medical privacy laws to only provide the minimum amount of medical info in these cases.

Haha- nah... it was a legitimate question. A lot of us are wondering too but realize no news is good news at this point.

That’s nonsensical. Do you really think Jerry is worried about trying to placate fans for a day or two? What would that accomplish? How would Jerry gain anything? Would he get more money? Sell more jerseys or tickets? Would he be viewed as a genius for talking to a guy who has missed 29 of his team’s last 32 games, or be seen as a top GM for talking to guys he doesn’t sign?

It’s ridiculous anyway to think they, or any team, should sign every player they talk to, or that if they do the details are worked out overnight. Or that every player they talk to is only going to consider the Cowboys instead of shopping around for the best deal. Some they sign, some they don’t, same as with every other NFL team.
