Hayden was a future rights FA who played for the minimum for two years and Joey Ivie was a 7th round pick. If the big criticism of your Defensive Coordinator is that he said nice things about a 7th rounder who didn't make the roster, you are in good shape.

Remember Jason Hatcher and his long arms. Remember the seed smoking #97 and his long arms. If hill works out then great. But I'm tired of these short armed defensive tackles that have to jump around the offensive linemen, because that creates holes that could be exploited.

Well maybe if his units achieved a high level and won championships, none of these discussions would be disappointing to you.

Marinelli should have been fired.

The results are obvious. He was NOT prepared for the Rams run game.

He is not an elite DC.

If it makes you feel better I think Richard and Marinelli should have been fired after that defensive coaching disaster that was the Rams game. This unit played at an above average level. High level would be more sacks, pressure and turnovers. They are taught to played scared and not try to make any plays keep everything in front of them. This type of defense does not work in the playoffs against better teams. 0-16 coach still coaching in the NFL. Shameful

Hill definitely crushed the "interview" portion of the process, that's for sure. Telling an NFL coach you have to get off the phone because you don't want to miss your work out is pretty fantastic.

"Hey, guy offering me a job potentially worth millions - I gotta run, k? Talk later!"

You must be arguing with someone on my block list, so I'll assume you're right and they're wrong but I was going to question who you were refering to with "idiotic takes", because my
version of this thread is pretty good and I hadn't seen a single reference to Richard.

Although to be fair, unless my memory fails, you aren't exactly a fan of Richard, and certainly not a fan of people that want him to take Garrett's job.
