If he skips this year then he may not be welcome the next year, maybe a bigger distraction than its worth.. We will move on from him in a year.. I hope Weber or Pollard steps in and does amazing things behind this O-Line. I would call Morris and check on ajia..

I'm saying this with 100% confidence, no way in hell we play the first regular-season game with Pollar or Weber as our starting RB.

Jackson probably gets cut again. He is just an athlete playing HB, he has very poor vision.
No. Jackson is the RB1 if Zeke is traded or holds out. You're thinking of Scarborough, who had the worst vision in the league last preseason.

It’s been reported that he’s been working with the other running backs on the team with regard to the playbook. So his distance isn’t that far.

I hope you're right about that. Talking about the playbook is one thing; actually being there to practice it is another deal altogether.

If we do, i'm not worried. Dak will throw to Pollard out of the backfield, he'll race upfield for 40 yards. Next play Dak will throw deep to whoevers open for a td. This team is still loaded without Zeke.

Nah...Jackson has poor vision n cuts, he's not a good RB. Watch him vs the NYG just last season. Also, DJ doesn't have power either, I don't see why anybody would champion him at any capacity.

Good Zeke is getting some rest n relaxation before he carries the ball more than anyone in the league.

So we will cave..

No.....Zeke will
He's the one under contract for the next two years.......I'm more concern about him prolonging this to end preseason and showing up out of shape and/or getting injured first game or two.

My guess.....if this isn't resolved my 2nd preseason game, will may bring in vet coz you have to start getting ready for the season opener. You don't waste valuable 3rd preseason game snaps on rookie you have no intention of starting.

Anyone expecting a 7th round draft pick like Weber to replace Zeke is in for a bit of a letdown. There are reasons why he lasted so long.

You all do know defensive coordinators will play this complete different w/o Zeke, right? Put another way, no Zeke makes easier to cut Dak's head off ......lol.

Thr 5th year option can be waived by Dallas if Zeke is injured before the league year starts.

Zeke is only playing on the 3.8 million for 2019.

If he were to get hurt and have to miss a season he could lose out on $$$.

Why do people act like Zeke is some kind of fool?!?

Many just want to use him til he's shreds and toss him.
The fact that he's protecting his financial present is an affront of using him til he's roadkill!

Jackson's vision is bad just like Scarborough's was. Jackson isnt even an RB2 on a decent team, let alone an RB1

While all this is true, it doesn't change his contractual obligation. It only gets adjusted/amended if the Cowboys say so.

Elliott hosted younger backs at his home, Pollard said.

“His leadership with us younger backs inviting us to his house, going over plays and trying to show us the ropes and the way things go,” Pollard said.

It’s moves like that which contribute to teammates unanimously voicing support for Elliott, acknowledging that “you have to realize it’s a business at the end of the day and guys going to make business decisions,” Pollard said, “but you have to take care of you.”
