They took Mike White in the 5th round. At this point that should be enough resources to develop a backup. I think that's personally the route to go with backup quarterback. A guy hungry guy. Not a retread. We've been done that route with Weeden and Casell.

I don't get why you would go three-four-five deep in competition in some areas of the roster and leave him basically uncontested except for a punter/kicker hybrid in Redfern that has no chance of overtaking him.

Yes we have. But we've also gone the route of Dustin Vaughan too. And if Rush after three year or White after year two hasn't shown something worth keeping them around? I'm not.

The first INT was tipped but still went through Cobb's hands . The 2nd, Cobb hesitated and stuttered during his route running, enabling Woods to step in front and make the easy INT.
