Against your best wishes to have arguably the best back in the league playing week 1??

Some silly crap getting tossed around here lately.

That means he got Gurley money and that will hurt them down the road. You can kiss hisazz all you want, but I don't think he's worth that big contract. With heavy usage he'll hit a wall at some point.

No. Desperation won't set in for either side until after a couple of games are played. Until then, there really is no "deadline" to force negotiations.

I think he signs in time to play Week 3.

Ask me Sunday morning. If the O looks good Sat night with a good run game, I think Zeke will report next week. If the O looks bad and the run game suffers, then Zeke will continue his hold out. His only leverage he has is if the FO thinks we can't win without him. The better the O plays without him, any leverage he thinks he has goes away.

All this speculation and all that... I’m curious what the majority of Cowboys fans think.
yes I hope so..:p)

I think Jerry put his foot him his mouth and hurt zekes feelings, now he will do it through emotion..

once they are set to be back at the star fulltime to wrap up camp, so the next 10days, some of these contracts will get done..put it in 3inch headlines....

Of course he plays week one. These guys will do anything to get out of training camp. Including holding out and "working out" at elite training facilities in Mexico...

He'll be signed and on the field for the Giants.

Funny that you think preseason can tell you anything about the team's ability to win in the regular season.

I think so, deal or no deal. If he doesn’t play week 1, then I think it goes well into the season.....it won’t be a signing by week 2 or 3.

No.

If the team drops a few of the early games then Jerry will panic as usual and sign him to a new deal. If they are winning, then Zeke will be out untill week 11 when he has to report.

Yes, he will be here week 1 and I don't think anything that happens in the preseason influences his decision....

You betcha he'll be suited up vs those Gnats. Zeke is far from being wealthy (and mature). That said, he's recieved a taste of the limelight and WILL NOT GO WITHOUT that NFL paycheck.

Remember, it's not about the fans/ Cowboys etc.... It's about the almighty dollar bill. Besides, how's he going to pay that security guard that's suing him without a job?! :lmao:
