Eagles huh... but they want a stud tackle? We're not trading them Lane Johnson or our 1st round pick stud (Dillard), and they wouldn't take Jason Peters because he's too old... so what would they want seriously? A back? Okay I'll give them Jordan Howard.

What has his career been like?

He came into the league really young and raw, one of those athleticism without technique guys who just dominated in college off how much of an athlete he is. Looked like a bust or at least not a great pick who had too many injuries the first 3 seasons, but the last two seasons he's had 9.5 and 9 sacks and become a real force of a D Lineman.

He's only 26 and a monster, so I understand why some team is going to pay him crazy money and why Houston can't afford to keep him.

I'm surprised that the Panthers aren't a team he would be interested in. They always have a good defense, he would be their best DE immediately and it is close to home since he is from South Carolina.

Sorry to see that he fired my friend as his agent though.

doesn't Dolphins run a 3-4 scheme with their new HC Brian Flores ?

plus the Cats run a 4-3 scheme where Clowney would be a better suited fit.

My understanding is that he limits his own upside because of inconsistent effort.

Really good on paper (2x NFL top 100, 3x pro bowl, freak athlete, former #1 pick, only 26 years old) but not elite. Arguably not worth the long term contract money considering he played on a very defense focused team and has issues with effort/injuries.

He plays the 2nd most valuable position in football and like I said earlier has amazing on paper stats but most smart franchises will probably pass on giving him a big 70+ million dollar deal. He's definitely worth good money don't get me wrong he's a great player

I'm surprised he doesn't want to go to another team in his division, like Tennessee or the Jags. That way he can get his revenge on his former team! :p

Who in the world would choose to play for any of those teams. Wastelands. Although he plays in Houston which is another wasteland in this league.

Mix of both 3-4/4-3.

The Pats, relied on players that were versatile in that regard.

Now, Flores has his work cut out for him in Miami.
