Hard for me understand why fans/posters get so stressed out over the money these guys are making. I mean we can post a 100K threads disapproval and not one is influencing Jerry or Stephen's decision. As long as they are balling on the field I could care less about their pay.

He's a good player but he is an entitled ewok who has been one distraction after another since after his rookie year.

Mine won’t because I always expected him to sign last minute or after missing one game.

I don’t like him very much as a person, but I never did. I love how he plays RB. If we overreacted the position and overspent massively on this second contract.

I've been ready to move on, to look at trade offers involving 1st round picks, to enter the season in holdout status and see what Pollard provides first.

But now that it is looking likely....

Go Zeke!

Haha for real though, I'm already flip-flopping and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Long term, I'm not a big fan of the idea. It doesnt fit the modern NFL and I think we all know that. But short term, this was a roster already looking SB capable. Now we secure the contribution of a bonafide superstar and I think we look like strong contenders in 2019 and maybe even the year or two after that.

Call me "just a fan" and maybe I need to turn in my armchair GM card. But I'm keeping my armchair HC card because this talent pool is salivating when you consider the onfield possibilities.

So be honest Cowboys Zone, where are you now and where will you be week 1 if (when) Zeke takes the handoff?
Why would it change? The business side sucks for everyone but everyone has to play the game.

My opinion does not change. Although if your Dak or Cooper, you learn that you did it wrong and should have holdout to.

My opinion of him as a person change won't change. I'll cheer if he helps the team win, but I also cheered when Greg Hardy got a sack.

I've never wavered in my undying support of Zeke! Pay them all!!!! I don't give a crap about cap and money and the business side of it. I'll let Jerry worry about that.
Yeah, screw them durn super bowls, no need to bother w/ those things!!!!

Not really.

On the field he's a great player.

Off the field, we should start a pool as to how many days after the Cowboys season ends that he has an encounter with the cops.

I guess there could be another pool: Which happens first and when: The Cowboys win a SB with Zeke's help or Zeke gets suspended.

If they sign him to a best paid RB in the league deal and gets 6 TD's this season and the team doesn't win the SB, he wasn't worth it. If they sign him to that deal and he's the SB MVP? Worth it, I guess..as long as he doesn't then get suspended.

So will Zeke have a greater sense of responsibility after he gets paid?

Or will he just party harder?

I'm guessing it's the latter.

I think he'll party harder too. He seems like one of those does that stays mentally 16 forever. I know a guy like that. He's about to be 48 and still acts like he's 16.

Every body here will be cheering him on because we all want the same thing. And its obviously a heck of a lot easier to win the whole dang thing WITH Zeke, than without.

Nope
I already think Jerry and Stephen are morons
