All depends on Dak. If he signs a deal, then QB is not the priority. If he doesn't and he's intent on hitting FA, then we might look at QB.

We absolutely need to look at a Pass Rusher and more players in the DL interior. I think we would be wise to consider LOT as well. This season will tell us a lot, with regards to Smitty's back, I'm guessing.

I actually feel pretty good about Safety but we definitely need to look at our Corners. Not that I don't like what I see but that I am not sure we keep the talent we have. I agree with the earlier poster there.

I like what I see at TE but again, I agree that an all around TE is nice to have.

I'd be real tempted to look at WR. It's going to be real hard to pay both Gallup and Cooper. I think one of them might end up leaving Dallas eventually. Hate to say that but if both of those guys keep posting numbers, one of them is going to end up playing for big money else where. I would look at WR and I would look really hard towards CU.

We need kickers. I don't think we need to use top picks on one but I think that position needs to definitely be looked at. We also need to start looking at another LS.

May be a year to early to look at WR's. We have Smith under contract next year too. A WR might get buried. Unless you are talking about a day 3 guy

No, if you need a WR to replace Cooper, you need that guy this year. Remember, it takes a good 3 years to see starting production out of a WR in an NFL Offense, on average. This year, we may have the opportunity to get a really good WR. I think it would be wise to consider it if one is available.

As I said earlier, I don't believe we will be able to keep both Cooper and Gallup. I think one of them destined to be on another team. What if the team decides that Gallup is the way to go on this, rather then Cooper? Either way, Gallup is in his second season so we only have two more, after this. Lots of moving parts here but, if you wanted to get a WR, this year would be the year to bring him in so that you could insure he was ready IMO.

They have two more years on a rookie deal to figure out what to do with Gallup. Cooper is there #1 WR, they traded a first round pick for him, and they have already begun at least the initial stages of an extension negotiating with him. Its not a matter of if they extend Cooper, but when.

Perhaps, nobody knows for certain. Once Cooper is an FA, he can sign anywhere so unless you know of something that I don't, with regards to his signing, he could easily play out his contract and then see FA. We haven't signed Dak yet so it's entirely possible that we won't even be able to Franchise him, if it comes down to that. As I said, lots of moving parts here and as I posted earlier, a lot depends on Dak.

Im saying that its extremely unlikely he gets to FA before we extend him. They really want to keep him, and when they want to keep someone they dont let them get near FA. As soon as Dak's deal is done (which shouldnt be much longer), they will shift there attention to Cooper and his deal should be done soon after

I have no idea what our chances look like there. I would simply say that if WR is the best play on the board for us, then take it. If WR is the best position on the board and I think it could be, then we should definitely think about that IMO.

Destined for Dallas ...

Adrian Magee 6'4" 343
JUNIOR SEASON (2018)
Played in 10 games, starting four times at three different positions … Started season-opener against Miami at right tackle; started at left tackle against Ole Miss and had back-to-back starts at left guard against Florida and Georgia

Position flex! He's as good as ours.
