I would YES! Come on down cheeseheads.

I totally agree. Screw the mediots!I disagree. The win situation for us would be to win the game. That would be a win in every sense of the word. The part about respect? Counts the same as "Power Polls".
Hot boyz? Go show it on the field cause that don't impress me much!!.Better offense
Better defense
Go show it on the field.

The “A’ints” are 8-0 on Sunday Night Football when they play at home.
I think the players are hearing the rhetoric that they haven't played anybody, and go in seeking that respect. One of the most common complaints seen on this forum is “the Cowboys are not getting enough respect”.
Most of us grew up hearing the old saying that “respect is earned.” Well Sunday night, the Cowboys have a chance to earn a little respect.
The “A’ints” are 8-0 on Sunday Night Football when they play at home. Even without Drew Brees, they are a tough opponent, especially at the Dome. A win Sunday night is an opportunity for the Cowboys to showcase their worth as a contender in front of a national TV audience. Hopefully result in winning the NFC East and gaining the #1 seed for the playoffs. This Sunday night is a chance to prove they for real. And not against the midgets, skins of fins, but a really good team at home.
Ultimately, “respect” will be earned in the playoffs. Regular season games are obviously important, but they are because they serve as a way to tee up the ball hopefully for a successful playoff drive. Playoff wins= respect.
Sure would be great to see a dominant Cowboys team make a statement! Step one toward that respect is Sunday night. Let’s Go Cowboys!

“Yeah, but that was without Drew Brees! Who cares? Next week vs Rodgers is the REAL test!”
I hear ya....but at the same time, I also have seen this movie before, bought the T-Shirt, sold it in a garage sale....you get the idea. One of the most common complaints seen on this forum is “the Cowboys are not getting enough respect”.

Since we have the most talkative owner in sports who has counted some losses as moral victories, acts as if being Forbes champion is like being a SB champ, and accepts excuses for 24 years of playoff drought, it isn’t surprising that it’s hard for us to get real respect.I hear ya....but at the same time, I also have seen this movie before, bought the T-Shirt, sold it in a garage sale....you get the idea.
Everyone says now this is the test that tells us who the Cowboys really are. Then after they beat them the excuses start rolling in, namely that Drew Brees was hurt. The Packers, though, that's the real test. Then the Cowboys win and it's because of Devante Adams turf toe. Then they face the Jets, where the Cowboys will be heavily favored. After the Jets, the Cowboys face the Eagles.
At this point, it's hard to say what the excuse will be but make no mistake, should the Cowboys win, the National Media will have something to justify disrespecting what the Cowboys have accomplished. It never fails. And the reason why is because ratings don't jump just when you say nice things about the Cowboys. They jump regardless of what you say about the Cowboys...so long as your are saying something about the Cowboys. And if you just so happen to be a former player that played for any team other than the Cowboys, it's probably going to be disrespectful. If it's a former Cowboys player, chances are it will also be disrespectful, because they don't want to be labeled a biased homer as is Michael Irvin.
My over-arching point here is simple: We really shouldn't care what other people think...only what the Cowboys do.
