Ha ha!

Yes. They’re both very obnoxious and it appears to be an act, but they talk Cowboys seemingly the entire show so I confess to watching it often.

Was skip really a hater? That seems very possible. He has his wife on and she talked all about him being a spurs fan, but never mentioned the Cowboys.

Lol fair enough. I, too, am guilty of listening to more football podcasts and stuff when they're talking about us and we're winning. Not something we've gotten a ton of around here so I take it when I can get it haha.

But yeah I don't listen to them strictly out of principle because I remember how stupid they sounded before. Yes he was very very much anti-T.O first and foremost. But he also talked a ton of crap about Romo being a choker and not taking the game seriously and stuff, along with Cowherd, for years.

Oh and let's not forget Skip and Aikman have a well documented feud because skip suggested he was secretly gay back in the late 90s lmao. I remember Aikman actually got a few comments in about Skip a few years ago about how he doesn't respect some of the "journalists" on tv nowadays and it was implicitly directed at skip.

Yeah didn’t Troy rip Fox when Skip made the jump from ESPN to FS1? He didn’t mince words.

Agree about their schtick being all for ratings/controversy. I watch sometimes, but only for the same reason as some slow down to see that car accident...morbid curiosity. If I was a Cowboys fan, I would absolutely hate Skip being the president of their homer club.

This is my last year of direct tv I think. I just want to find something I can stream with that works. I don’t like the herky jerky stuff. I want a smooth stream.

Not only will i have to go old school and watch the Cowboys game on an antenna....The Houston Astros playoff games are on FS1 which they also removed.I will have to watch on Reddit now.

I've been with Dish for 20 years but that is the final straw.

Two greedy billionaire companies arguing and blaming each other while the customer gets screwed.
It's why I got rid of DirecTV. Same issue. Now I have Verizon FiOS. And the best streaming device ever from football no pop-ups no gimmicks. P.m. me if you want it

Crack streams, all one word you'll love it I found it last week another Cowboy brother gave it to me best.
Thanks bro. Directv is making a killing off of people and giving the ticket to new customers for free . I am sick of having to call them every year to ask for a discount to make it more affordable. I live in Florida and only had to use it once this year for the game so far..

In the northwest I have DirecTV Nd I can’t get NBC or Fox

I have used them for 26 years and I’m pulling the plug this week

Not going to pay huge money just so I can miss out on games I could get with an old tv and rabbit ears with maybe some tin foil

Yeah, if they just kept their coupons and lowered the price, I would probably be a customer. You know if they are willing to give a $300.00 coupon that they are making that money back.

I guess I'm in the minority. I've had DTV and Sunday Ticket for almost 30 years and love it. I never have to worry about missing Cowboys games and watch 3-4 NFL games at a time when Dallas isn't playing. I watch a ton of Virginia sports other than football and basketball, as well as stuff on demand from HBO, Showtime, STARZ, etc, all of which my DTV subscription allows me to either get or stream on the big screen without jumping through hoops. I realize I could get almost all that stuff through streaming services at less cost but I hate buffering and pixelation, especially when I'm watching live events (even though it happens rarely) and would rather not have to depend on the internet for my television feeds. I'm a computer geek though and once DTV loses Sunday Ticket exclusivity I'll probably rethink all this. With the advent of the ACC Network I no longer have to depend on local channels to watch Virginia sports.

I am with Dish and not getting Fox. However dish has the Locast app. You can register, it is free and gets you all the local channels. Register online at locast.org then go in to your apps on Dish and login and you will get the game.

It sucks, but I appreciate sat/cable companies that hold the line against rate increases by local affiliates. They got extremely heavily discounted (borderline free) public bandwidth to offer free programming and television access to all of America. Now each local station is asking a buck or more per subscriber per month for our Cab/sat company to provide those free channels via their equipment so we don't have to switch between our provider and an antenna to access all our channels.

Having said that, an antenna is a smart choice. I put up a $26 antenna on my roof and got perfect local reception. Added a $99 rotator and I can pick up all channels in 3 different markets.

It may work for you, but I think the link is dangerous. It took over my browser and wanted to install software. I would advise people to stay away.
Yeah that’s the pop ups I’m talking about. I’ve never clicked on anything that pops up. In fact, i barely even give the window time to open before I’m clicking out.

I definitely don’t ever allow anything to download.

It is pretty standard fare for these type of sites.

Having said that, I can understand why it made you uncomfortable.

Any Dish subscribers should be taken out and publicly flogged.......cut the cord man.

You won't miss a beat and put 3 hundred bucks in your pocket every month.
