The weather for this game makes me even more concerned. Usually the nasty weather games lean towards the team with better coaching and better defense (which is clearly the Patriots).
Yep

The elements and flu bug add to our concerns.Im going into this game nonchalant. Just hoping it’s not a blowout.

Good for you.

Even the most polished gamblers only win about 60% -70% of the time versus the line. What’s more important is how much you wager on your wins versus the losses.

Most gamblers lose betting with their heart on their fav teams and who I usually don’t bet in Dallas because my vision can can be blurred with my passion.

Absolutely, but like everyone else, I had my system. But there were games that stood out, and I bet the house on them.

1992 Thanksgiving game against the Giants. Dallas -16 I believe and I threw 500 bucks on it. The win IMO was never in question.
1989 Super Bowl 24 Denver VS the 49ers. I gave out 23 1/2 points to anyone that wanted Denver and bet 450 bucks at work. Again, IMO the results were never in question.
1992 I think? The game the Bills made that comeback against the Oilers. I threw my entire net paycheck on the OVER.

In case you're wondering about the dollar values. They were my net paychecks. I didn't want to bet more than I can pay out.

Other honorable mentions, there were a few years there between the Bengals and Oilers where those teams crushed eachother at home. Take the home team, give the points and you can't lose. One game was 62-7.

Not really, it does not always favor the defense.
And here is why.

The offense know what routes they will run, so when they make their cuts, the defense needs to responds. Often more slippage or getting behind a player happens more against the defense.
The must react. Now maybe an aggressive defense that blitzes a lot may fair better with that, but also can get burned too.

But Dak and Cry Boy knows where his receivers will be so odds are more in the QB's favor. If Sanu and Dorsett are actually out, then Brady only had Edleman and Michel coming out of the backfield. We have our entire arsenal ready. Comes down to the OL play for me. And the running game of course. These are the type of games that a player like Zeke should excel in.

But do agree coaching will have as much as anything for success or not. And we know who has the advantage there and at home.
Hope they bring the correct cleats.

I enjoy gambling but I’m very conservative. I’d never bet the house. Instead I’d recommend casual wagering picking and choosing key matchups without much attention. Which in college is much easier.

Vegas doesn’t keep up with over 300 Div 1 schools like they do 32 in the NFL. And it doesn’t have to be games you’re going to watch. I’d strongly suggest not betting on your team.

I have to be certain if I’m betting on the Cowboys. Which hasn’t been much in a couple decades. I usually just place a casual bet on the Over/ Under. Which with bad weather I’m leaning on under . It will be a game time decision.

Dude, that was the only time I bet on the Cowboys to this day. Bookie related I mean. Keep in mind the reason I bet the house is because I was still living at home making a good amount of money with absolutely zero bills other than gas and insurance for my car. My net pay at an entry level position was 450-500 in the late 80s early 90s. I could afford to lose that and still not suffer if I did. I had no bills. The second I moved to an apartment and had bills I stopped gambling like that. Couldn't afford it. I think for some reason when you bet with nothing to lose you win more often.

I dont trust the Cowboys to have much confidence in them to win any games against decent teams. I'm not saying they will lose the rest of the games. What I am saying is there always seems to be one part of the team that stinks things up on any given week. It could be the defense against the run, special teams, running game, play calling. If they could ever put together a solid across the board performance they would have a chance to beat anyone.

I think they will lose too but I want to see how the Cowboys perform. This is a test and it's not graded by win or lose. It's important that the Cowboys perform decent. What would be nice is to see a close competitive game.

A win this weekend would certainly make up for the Jets game debacle. Bottom line we need to win one of the next two games this week then finish strong vs. the NFC teams down the stretch.
Go Cowboys!

fans maybe...but not the players.
I like our chances Sunday.
Correct but fans aren’t expected or needed to believe they will win like the players.

As far as our chances Im not sure I’m as optimist as the 30% chance some oddsmakers are laying.

On Any Given Sunday always applies but what other game on the schedule would we expect to lose going in more than this one?

So, a moral victory will make you feel better about the loss. Yea, I guess no one wants to get blown out.

The only way the Cowboys can make up for the loss to the Jets is beating the Pats tomorrow. When you lose a game you’re supposed to win you need to win a game you’re supposed to lose.

i really feel like you’re gassing the pats up, this isn’t the patriots team of old. I’ve watched at least 5 of their games this season from start to finish, they definitely are beatable

I like our chances more in games we’ll be favored to win. Which we will be against two other winning teams coming up at home with Bills and Rams.

New England is winning with defense this year. #1 in the league in yards and scoring. Less than 100 yards in rushing , 200 yards in passing and only 10 points a game.

I’ll go on record right now. Despite however poor their offense is and Bradys skills continue to diminish if they end up only giving 10 points a game they will be in the Super Bowl again.

Remember how poor Brady and their offense looked last year in SB holding one of the top offenses down in a 13-3 championship win.

I’d still take Brady over anyone in the league with 2 minutes to go needing a score.
That's some serious Brady foot kissing there. It's as if you don't understand Brady is not their strength or the reason they are 9-1. That would be their defense. Brady is about to get beat up badly on Sunday. The refs will throw BS flags to protect him but the beating will continue until the game ends or Brady is carted off the field.

Their defense might be the difference in the game and give them the win none the less.

The GOAT is still getting slaughtered.

I thought I clearly gave the credit to their defense. And called Brady’s growing weaknesses out.

If there was any game on the schedule we had penciled in as a more certain loss , this was it.

Even if we were playing at an optimal level we wouldn’t be favored to win at Foxboro.
Perfect excuse to go out there and kick their *** then if we think we're going to lose and go out there and play like that then we're going to lose if we go out there and play like we have nothing to lose it might be a different story
