I saw the beginning and the struggles being a true oldtimer . This team , especially on D just lets teams move the chains and put us in poor field position constantly.

You can't mean the players, there is talent on this team, maybe not as much as some think, but the talent level in the NFL is very close, even for teams like the Bengals. Starting over entirely isn't the answer. New kicker for sure, new defensive tackles, for sure. New cornerbacks, for sure.

The rest is plenty good enough, given adequate coaching...

Exactly, its ridiculous to dismiss coaching. Talent is very close throughout the league. Coaches can literally transform teams.
